Trimming problem with tarot of Paris?

Last week somebody on a Facebook group advertised some of their decks for sale. For some reason I bought the Tarot of Paris, which is a deck I've never had any interest in. It's also not a theme I go for. Much to my surprise the cards have really piqued my interest. But they're HUGE! So I'm thinking maybe a borderectomy so I can shuffle them. In between the picture and the white border is some shadowy stripes of colour. I think this will make it hard to get the cards even. Has anyone trimmed this deck? I don't want to make a mess. I've trimmed other decks but these might be awkward!

I trimmed mine but I just checked the trimmed border thread and apparently sold the set long before I started that thread.
Maybe whoever bought it will see this and post images.

I know for scanning the cards always got the moire effect.
