fibromyalgia

sedgeez

Hi everyone!

So my friend has bad fibromyalgia and she's getting medical help for it. I thought it would be nice to make her a wire wrapped pendant though just to add that extra help.

So I researched stones for that and chronic pain and a lot of them I didn't really have spare,
So I did a clear quartz. Do you think this will help?

I thought with it being a master healer and also amplifying other crystals it was a safe choice to use.

Please let me know! :)

If it is clear quartz, you should be able to program it to do just about anything.

agreed. and the good thing about clear quartz is that it doesn't need to be re-energized. good choice!

I have FMS and have tried to utilize all my resources that are available and had some great results with Quartz and a couple other influences (also associated with healing, pain, pain management, and some other bits and pieces). I also was working different angles, i.e. Motivation to get up earlier and start my day with yoga or martial arts warm ups (exercise helps with the pain sometimes and for some people, but I'd ask your friend what she/he needs help with since it varies so much person to person).

P.S.
I take Lyrica for mine too, when it gets really bad. WONDER drug, and I NEVER say that. It worked better than the neurontin and gabapentin. It also helps me enough to exercise to help to control it (exercise used to make it flare up for me).

Sedgeez, here are 2 very informational sites re: the Clear Quartz and also one about specific crystals to use for Fibromyalgia too. Pairing the two together may also be wise to do. But, to get the most benefit, your friend may also need to do other things on their own to improve their health and well being. You can't rely only on one thing. Exercise is the best route, though it is difficult because the pain of Fibromyalgia is very debilitating. The key is also not to push yourself too hard and do more damage.

Tai Chi is an excellent form of exercise as it is slow and smooth, and doesn't hurt. If you begin to feel any pain as a result of tai-chi you should and can stop immediately. So going slow is okay until you build up strength. Its good for anyone with fibromyalgia, osteoporosis or arthritis (I have all 3) and also just good for anyone who needs to keep limber and balanced. You can find some tai chi on you tube too that is very informative. here is one link that I use daily, though sometimes I can only get through the warm ups and cooling down portions. I don't push myself and only do what I feel I can handle, and I can still feel a difference with only doing the warm ups and cooling down exercises.

here are a few of Dr. Paul Lams Tai Chi videos on youtube-

Between all of this and meditation too--I am fortunately able to stay away from the drugs for the most part. I do also use a tens unit which helps me a great deal and then of course heat and salt baths to relax the muscles help immensely too.

But, do check these two sites out about the crystals that may be best for your friend!
