Learning the cards w/ dyslexia

youareafool

I'm glad I can still read while I continue to learn and I'll definitely have enough posts by then! I am very excited to have found this community, so I'll be all over the place haha.

I'm wondering, do the suit cards correspond with equal numbers? Example, do the two of cups and two of swords present the same situations, but varying in the area of your life the suit represents? If so, that will be much easier! I should look it up but I'm at work šŸ˜…

Y.a.a.Fool, you should post that question over in "using tarot cards" subforum :) so many here can help you out with that question, including our own invaluable card specialist, Thirteen :) She moderates over there, so she can for sure help you out, along with everyone else! Link is below in my post.

Also, we are supposed to remain on topic in each thread...so we can't really answer that here.

Thank you guys so much! I will post that question in the proper thread. One last question, where would I post asking if anybody would be willing to mentor me? I would love to make a good friend and have invaluable insight

um...as far as I know, no one mentors anyone here - it is a learning forum based upon everyone helping everyone else :)

By the way, I never said, welcome aboard!

What I love about AT is that you're constantly challenged. Just when you think you've heard all the questions, someone comes along and presents a problem in a whole new light. I would have never considered what dyslexic people do, so thanks for that. Unfortunately I have no idea, but aren't there different kinds? I don't know much about it, sorry, but I'll think about it over the next few days.

As for mentorship, that isn't much the custom here because you don't have one mentor, you have thousands. Ask any question and as many as you wish in all the forums. In time I'm sure you'll make friends and people will naturally come forward and teach you.

Go for Tarot Card Meanings and read up what Thirteen has to say. It's all you ever need, really. :)

Like, for instance, you asked about twos:

She does each card individually, but also in groups - e.g.:

Twos Tarot Card Meanings The twos are related to the High Priestess. As such they indicate duality, a pause between two choices or an attempt do two thing at once. Most importantly, they indicate instinctual knowledge.
Aces are undirected energy; the twos are that point where you find out more about the energy so that you can know which direction to go with it.
