Thanks. Just had another look and you are right - it is hidden in the shadows...(and I guess that this makes perfect sense if we interpret (one of) the meanings of this card as not seeing what we still have since we are too focused on what we have lost... ![]() I sat for ages looking for the extra cup...now does that have some significance for me? |

Hmm, interesting question. Maybe it does. When you were looking for the fifth cup, you were trying to find something that looked like all the other cups. You didn't expect something hidden in the shadows. Maybe this is telling you to look for things in unexpected places, that's where you'll find what you need. Something like that. __________________ Show me a sane man and I will cure him for you. - Carl Jung |

I just received this in the mail today. From what I read here, people either hate it or love it, there doesn't seem to be an in between. ![]() I wanted a bit of a darker deck, but not too dark. I had Bohemian Gothic, though beautiful, very gloomy readings no matter what cards I drew from that deck so I passed it on. I was on the fence about this one to be honest, and almost didn't get it. Well I must say I am happy I did. I have done some readings with it and boy are they interesting. Quite different from my other decks. Like someone else said great for relationships, and ohhh yesss it is!! Anyone else here still using this? By the way, it matches up great with the Wisdom of House of Night oracle. They rock together!! __________________ I probably shouldn't be here. But this was the only universe with a vacancy. |

Boy things can change fast!! After taking a time-out from the OneDeckWonder several days ago, I went through all of my decks and pulled this one out. I looked through the deck, and found I only liked a few cards in it anymore. The rest of them I absolutely hated!! I think it comes from using the Vampyre deck intensively, and when ya compare the two, well... the artwork in the Dark Fairytale is just very poor. ~Beauty and the Beast~ I especially HATE the Devil and Magician in the Dark Fairytale. I gave it to a friend last night. I know I will never be wanting to use it again, so farewell to this deck.. __________________ I probably shouldn't be here. But you know, I haven't given up on it yet. I see scans and think "it's not that bad" and I get it out again. Maybe one of these days I really will like it... I don't get rid of decks generally as I have had so many turnarounds that I know there are still many surprises to come! |
