Parrots excrete feces & urine together. Hence the white & green!
I have a Pineapple, Nanday and Jenday conures.
The best way I have found is what you did. Water & a soft cloth. Squeeze out most of the water and wipe your cards down. Then dry with a soft cloth & lay flat for further drying. It's a good method just to 'cleanse' the deck in general from what I heard in the past. Just keep away from the heat while drying...oh and away from the bird too!!
