Pollack's Take on Divination

I love "78 Degrees of Wisdom," too. In the new edition (which combines Parts I and II), Rachel Pollack gives one of the best explanations I've ever encountered for how tarot -- and other forms of divination -- might work. For those who are interested, the text is found on pp. 263-275 of the new edition (comprising the introduction to Part II). Really wonderful and enlightening.

I'll have to read the Pollack(sp) since everyone recommends it so highly! My current favorite tarot book (and have a whole shelf full of them) is The Tarot by Alfred Douglas. It is an older book (copyright 1972) but it covers a lot of topics very well in a compact form. Plus it has B/W plates of some older decks.Blessings , wolfen
