Bach Remedies
I am working by Karla McLaren's method to clean my aura and she highly reccomends Bach remedies... I've heard Bach flowers mentioned before but that's about it. So, couple of days i got a book on Bach flowers, got very keen on them and i'd love to hear about your experiences ![]() (Btw, i intend to make essences myself.) *sorry if the toppic was rised before - couldn't find it*

I love working with the Bach Flower Remedies. I've used them on people, pets and plants. ![]() I've had extremely good results using them with pets!! I was fostering dogs for a while and had a couple of very young puppies, who were understandable freaked by being taken away from their mother too early (someone just dropped them off at the shelter ) and taken to a new place they didn't know. I began putting Rescue Remedy in their water and they calmed right down. It worked wonderfully. And another time I brought a new cat into my house after my beloved black cat died - thinking my other cat would like the company again. Well she didn't!! She kept attacking the new cat. I decided to try some of the single flower remedies, that addressed this situation, in their water and things calmed down after about a week!!

MDR, I'm so glad you asked about the Bach Remedies, and Faunabay I'm so glad you gave some info about them! I've heard of them, but knew diddly squat about them. I've been thinking this might help my daughter when she starts back to high school in the fall. She has such a hard time adjusting to change, and just about has an emotional breakdown at the beginning of every school year. This sounds like just the thing for her! Faunabay, could you give us some reliable sources to order from? Thanks so much!

Well I actually get mine from my health food store. I'm pretty sure the larger chains like Whole Foods, Trader Joes, etc. carry them. If not I'm sure a smaller health food store can order them for you easily if they don't have them. I've never had to order them from the internet. Bodhran, I completely agree with you - these would be wonderful for your daughter!! edited to add: I just went and did a search for a good website. This one seems to have alot of information and a questionnaire for determining which remedies would be good for you. I've never ordered from them but they have alot of the information straight from the Dr. Bach's book.http://www.essencesonline.com/Bach.htm __________________ aeclectic name: faunabay fairy name: Pithia Feedle Blackthorn Silvenslipper Last edited by faunabay; 19-06-2008 at 12:38. |

A lot of Italian greyhound rescue people have used this for dogs in rescue who suffer from anxiety, especially separation anxiety. They've gotten mixed results. It seems to work well for some dogs and not at all for others. I don't know if that's an individual thing, or perhaps how/where they got their flower remedies. Good luck! __________________ Karen and her hounds creating art ~ creating a new life |

Faunabay, Thanks so much for the website! I just ordered the Bach Rescue Remedy for her (both in cream and drops). I feel like this might be what she needs to help her through that first week of high school that always seems to send her into a tailspin!

Great Info! Thanks! The only one I use is Rescue Remedy...for those times when I am stressed and freaking out for no good reason...and it really does work. My mom uses the Rescue Sleep, and it has done wonders for her insomnia. __________________ Out Of Body...Back in 5 Minutes |
