Sinduction
So, I just got this bulk set of stones, 101 to be exact. I'm having trouble identifying them. For instance, I have 4 or 5 opaque black stones that could be any number of things. I've actually got a list of 114 stones that they "could" be. But I know jet, obsidian, onyx, etc. But they all seem the same to me.
Is there any source that makes identifying them easier, web or book or anything else? Google is just not helping me here.
Something that will tell me something like: This stone is transparent with flecks of x. Usually shown with swirls of x. Also can be confused with x.
Anything like that?
I don't need the meanings, I know how to find that. I have tons of links that show one pic and then launch into healing properties. I just need to know how to tell the difference between amethyst and ametrine!
Not that I don't love all of you and trust in your vast knowledge. But you'd hate me if I posted 50 stones for identification!
