Oh Gavriela - what a lovely surprise!

So good to discover another another person who can relate to Chas. Carter, Margaret Hone, and most probably Jeff Mayo, Liz Greene, John Addey.... and what about Reinhold Ebertin and Robert Hand and R. C. Davidson. I gave away my Sakoian & Acker book, but still have Michael Meyers "Handbook for the Humanistic Astrologer".

The (excellent) Margaret E. Hone book = The Modern Textbook of Astrology.
And also = Applied Astrology.
Very clear, easy to grasp 'how to' books. Along with houses and planets etc. it includes her, now well-known, formulae for finding the Midheaven and Ascendant via an ephemeris. Wonderful, because I did'nt even have a calculator then!

Charles E. O. Carter = An Encyclopaedia of Psychological Astrology.

Quote:
...before the transpersonal psych/structural linguistics folks detoured astrology down that road.
These authors produced good sound - well-researched methods. I don't know if any of them are still in print.

I'm so sorry Gavriella that you lost your books in a disaster

Re. The d'Eltynne: Found another site with meanings (translated). I've switched some of the cards back.....

Two links. Forget which is which so posting both. They are Oracle Belline meanings.

This second one doesn't have a window scroll bar, just use the keyboard arrows to scroll down. Other decks here.

Does anyone know how I can get a copy of the LWB for the original Oracle Belline?

I'd like the original deck too but it seems impossible to find one for sale.

I've seen the original (repro) Belline for sale, on continental sites, German, French, Swiss (I think...). But I preferred the d'Eltynne images.

The original Belline meanings apparently come in the LWB with the above deck. But I think one of the weblinks I gave (translated) were very close, if not the same, as the orginal.

You'll be pleased to know that Rob Hand is still heavily engaged in practicing and publishing traditional Astrology works through Project Hindsight. This will also be of interest to Gavriela, with her background in traditional astrology. I understand tha Liz Greene is also exploring more traditional methods and distancing herself from modern approaches.

Glad that someone else doesn't appreciate the psychobabble of many modern writers

This isn't the place to go into more details but if anyone's interested they could post in the Astrology Forum.

Thanks Bee.

Do you have any web links where I can purchase the original Oracle Belline? I'd like to personally compare the LWB to the one in the Tarot d'Eltynne.
