Lazy Afternoon Tarot

Yesterday afternoon, bored and restless as all get out, I remembered Chronata's "Minute Tarot" project.

Glance over at Sharpies.
Glance over at deck of blank tarot cards.

"Fifteen minutes on each card, tops," I tell myself, and get down to work.

Here's where you guys come in! I have the attention span of an ADD goldfish, and left to my own devices, I'll forget all about this project and leave a half finished deck of cards gathering dust in my art corner. In a few minutes, I'm going to get a shower, then I'll have until the evening (Pacific Time) to get at LEAST the majors finished.

If you're up for the task, help keep me motivated and focused... poke me, prod me, bribe me with invisible internet cookies! I want to get this deck done by the time I go to bed on Monday night. Is it doable? I hope so!

While I feverishly sketch and color, here's a batch of finished majors for y'all to enjoy in the meantime. The artwork is pretty primitive and simple for me (o she of the six hour sketch portrait) but for the small amount of time each card has taken, I'm pretty happy with the results.

Edited to add: To encourage audience participation everyone is welcome to suggest a card they'd like to see next. Chances are I'll do requests and my own favorites before any others, so your suggestions will make a difference. =)

I love Death. The Fool reminds me of the mother on Family Guy. Strength seems faded out color-wise compared to the other cards. I really like the Sun. Interesting take on the Moon.

Don't really have any requests, but cheering you on from the sidelines!

Rodney

Thank you all so much for the compliments!

Unfortunately, I'm behind schedule. We had unexpected company tonight, then I ended up being dragged to some festival and getting stuck in the city, and tomorrow I apparently have to go out again. Lame! But I will keep churning out cards when I can. I'll keep all of your suggestions in mind -- quite a few of them are finished and ready to post!
