I'm back! Did you miss me? Boy, have I got a story for you guys. On Sunday morning, I noticed I was having some connection problems, but brushed it off. After all, nine out of ten times, all three of the computers in the house are in use, hogging up the network. Sunday afternoon, I went to upload more cards and -- you guessed it. The internet connection had performed a kamikaze. Angry red lights on the modem and everything. I looked out the window a few moments later, only to realize that what had been only minutes ago a rather warm and sunny spring day had devolved into an out-of-season freak blizzard. I swear I stood at that window for a full minute expecting either zombies, aliens, or for a giant hand to come out of the clouds and flip me an obscene gesture. I managed to sneak my way onto the internet a couple of times over the past couple of days, even making it onto the forums momentarily, but none of those forays lasted long before crashing. While our internet got fixed, a completed deck waited on my bookshelf to be shared. That's right! It's DONE! Both the deck and I are impatient for making everyone wait so long. I hope you guys enjoy the last images. I'm going to start looking into possible methods of publication/production fairly soon -- any advice on that front would be highly appreciated, as I have NO idea how to go about doing that. ![]() Thank you all for being so patient, and for all the love you've shown for this project. ![]() [ETA: Any blurriness on the images is on account of my camera, not the cards themselves. I know a couple of them look a little smudged -- they're very clear in person.] Last edited by Alamaris; 10-03-2010 at 15:26. |

![]() Best 8 of Wands ever! I love the simplicity with the flames. These read SO WELL! I am all smiles when I view your attachments. If I were you, I would take Chronata's wise advice about publishing your own decks. And, there are a few threads on printing your own cards on this board (just search away). As stated earlier, many of us will prepay to secure this beauty, and help you with the printing costs. Last edited by aurarcana; 11-03-2010 at 04:04. |

Sincere congratulations! This is an incredible achievement. I've always skipped over this thread because the title made me think it was a reading exchange! D'OH!! Just read the entire thing and am so inspired by what you've accomplished. All the best for the future of this deck! p.s. I know you're working on the Sapphist Tarot too, but to me, this deck has a very strong female personality. It's not overt or trying too hard - it just is |

I just keep coming back to this thread to look at the cards. Now that you have rested , do you have future plans to make this available as a physical deck? Just a general question of course.

It will be a physical deck for sure! And hopefully soon, at that! Unfortunately schoolwork and car troubles have kept me from going into the city (we live far out of the way of any decent printing resources), but the second things quiet down a little, I'll be getting a small run of the decks made. I think I'm as excited as you guys about seeing the Little Deck That Could out in the wild, so have no fear that I'll forget. I CAN'T WAIT!!So far the only safe-and-trusted method I can think of for payment is Paypal. If anyone has a better suggestion, I'm all ears. I'm also considering the possibility of accepting trades. Additionally, since my research has turned up that boxes or bags would probably double the cost, and I don't want to do that to you guys -- want to make it affordable! -- I came up with the idea of wrapping each deck in nice cream paper, of which I have a slew, and customizing it with a drawing. This method would mean that buyers would have to find their own way of housing the deck -- is that all right to you folks?

I am so happy that you are going to print them. You know, those of us who love these will happily pay you ahead of time if you need us too. I'd love to support your effort! |
