I'd have read it similarly...two of wands anticipating a new venture or idea, seven of pentacles reflecting on what you've accomplished and now needs to be finished. But I'm always unsettled by the Hierophant, and tend to see it's appearance as an admonition not to go happily skipping off because who knows what higher power/alternate universe/trick of fate might trip me up.

I'd have gone to the interview in fairly high hopes. And been thoroughly disappointed and scandalized.

I get wild readings occasionally. I just shuffle a jillion times before trying again!

Well, yes, he could (anyone who has it could) but I'd like to think he won't. It's probably just a step towards making his 'business' look more legitimate to have people fill out a standard application. Those forms are usually very generic and I believe you can buy pads of them pre-printed from office supply places. Since you clearly weren't interested, hopefully he just filed it or, better yet, threw it away. He's probably too busy looking for people who'll say yes to his offer.

Whenever you check your credit report next though, look for things that shouldn't be there.

If you want to do something you could report this experience to the owner of the site (in hopes they will remove his ads or at least move them to the 'adult' area) and to the police, as someone mentioned earlier. Who knows what, if anything, they will do about it but that's two things you could do to make yourself feel better. As Demon Goddess said though, he might not technically be doing anything illegal (unfortunately), so you might not get much reaction.

In the future, it's a good idea not to give out your SSN until you're hired, when you fill out the tax forms. You might get some flak for it while applying for jobs because it's considered 'standard', but it's really your call. (Another hierophant issue, really. lol) Way too many people ask for that number - even some stores ask for it when you buy things, which is just ridiculous in my opinion. All you can do is say no and refuse to give it out, or give it anyway and hope for the best.

Once you decide to report it or not, I'd try to move on and let this experience go after that. Don't scare yourself by stewing over possibilities of things that could happen. You said no, you left unharmed, and you're much the wiser for it now and will be more careful in the future. So, try not to let it prey on your mind too much. *hugs* Love and light to you.

Wow! I'm so sorry to hear that you had to go through that kind of experience. Did you report him to the police? Even if you did it just as an anonomous phone call. I thnk that might be a good idea, telling people to come for one kind of interview (that he did not mention was in hsi home) and then trying to do what he did. I am sure that is completley illegal and that man should be stopped. I bet there never was a job and he just wanted you to take off your clothes so he could take a look and then if you agreed to be an escort he would want to see how you are at it first.

That man should be stopped before he gets someone innocent or desperate enough for money to fall for his lines! Some people don't handle manipulation as well as you do and can get talked into things against their best judgment. That man really should be stopped and that is illegal what he is doing. If he was running an escort service then his ad should have said he was looking to hire escorts. He does not have the right to invite women there for other jobs and then pull that on them.

As for your working dressed at a party where there are naked women running around. I myself would not have a moral problem with it, but it could lead to a dangerous situation for you. With a lot of naked women running around and drunk men, some of them might get ideas that might extend to you and not feel like taking no for an answer, when they are a bit drunk...just thought I would say that.

That being said, well, it's normal as a newbie to sometimes misinterpret cards. I can tell you I had a lot of that in the beginning when I was starting out, and it is very rare now. Of course we improve with practice. I do believe that the right cards always come up, but when we are new we sometimes interpret them in a way they are not meant to be interpreted. Any skill takes a little time and work to develop more.

I can tell you what helped me was that I saved all my readings I had done, even the ones I thought were completely off. Then three to six months or so later I reread them and with hindsight I could undertand perfectly why those cards had come up and what it was they had originally meant to say. When you reach that point it teaches you things that improve you are a reader. You learn how more about how the cards express themselves to you and that helps you to read them better in the future.

Learning is a bit of a process with some trial and error along the way, but Tarot is an amazing tool and I believe when you look back at that reading months from now you will be able to see what those cards had really meant to say. Don't worry, it keeps on getting easier.
