Anyone want to describe this and its effects for the rest of us?

Weeeeelll...I'll take a novice stab. 
Since Jupiter is the planet of expansion, I'd interpret a direct turn as a green light for projects (and relationships!) that have been stagnant. There may be some actual money or increased prosperity coming in (Jupiter rules blessings and I think financial stuff, too).
Of course, this could be mitigated a bit by Mercury going retro on Sept. 24...in which case I would say that revisited projects would be the ones to start going full steam ahead instead of new endeavors.
