The Lovers represents an attraction that was destined to be. It also represents the synergy of the twins Tefnut and Shu, from whom many of the other gods are descended. This version of the Lovers also represents separation since Tefnut got mad at Shu once and left him. The Lovers represents an exchange of feelings with another and the happiness that comes from sharing and relating with another.
