It's taking forever with the printing presses. It seems I might have to move the "release" date to January. Sadly, the matter is completely out of my hands. Just to explain: I'm dealing with 2 different printing presses - one [1] that will provide the card stock and printing of the card backs (monochrome), the other one [2] will print the fronts (coloured) and laminate the cards. The problem is, press 2 has very specific requirements for card stock, and press 1 is having a hard time sourcing out card stock that will fit both what I want (white fronts, Kraft backs) and what press 2 wants (caliper 12, short-grain). It seems a lot of paper suppliers' stocks were also flooded and are still in the process of recovering their lost supplies, so not everything is readily available at the moment.I really am sorry about this. God knows I would have preferred it be released earlier, but like what I said I have no control of this part of the process I'm consoling myself by thinking that at least now I'll have more time to work on cutting the cards and making the boxes as opposed to rushing them just to make it to a December deadline.
