Hehe, I think you guys are cracking me up more than the item description is. I would love to see a deck shuffle itself! ROFL Hooked __________________ "The problem with common sense, is that it's not common." Tom Dawyduk IDS: 1JJ Swiss Readings: Tarot Classic |

I went to the ebay description and that was funny. But then I went to the link on the deck itself. Someone mentioned "beer mats" and that is more than fair. It's an oracle deck and not a tarot deck and it's hideous. I don't care if it does your dishes and vacuums the floor.....I'd pay money to keep it out of my house. The bag is pretty. Never seen one fringed like that. Talk about the curve ball selling approach. Shuffles itself? Well, don't all of your decks do that? Mine do. I thought that was normal ;~) __________________ "... until his ceiling hung with vines and the walls became the world all around. ~ Maurice Sendak "Some of the things I believed are no longer beliefs and some things I have said were bordering on absurd; some very funny looking back, and some were just mistakes of enthusiasm." ~Rosanne Last edited by All Is One; 13-10-2008 at 03:14. |

Mon! Don't you never read other threads? Now everyone is going to start a bidding war and the true collector won't be able to get it without having spend those accidentally shorn paper cut off fingers and legs to get it. Well, maybe not, since there haven't been ANY bids on this truly shockingly haunted self shuffling deck with not one but two spirit soul guides. __________________ If you can't be a good example - - then you will just have to be a horrible warning |

That deck is so ugly..... ("How ugly is it?") I'm not good at jokes, so I have no come back for that. It's so ugly that I am compelled, nay, driven, by some unexplainable power larger than myself to post here and say: I doubt I've seen a deck that could compare to it in ugliness. If it is sucking people's souls in and predicting death, I'd be damned surprised. That thing is SO not gonna sell. And it should certainly be out of print! __________________ "... until his ceiling hung with vines and the walls became the world all around. ~ Maurice Sendak "Some of the things I believed are no longer beliefs and some things I have said were bordering on absurd; some very funny looking back, and some were just mistakes of enthusiasm." ~Rosanne |

Must look again at the price . . . I may yet buy it. If the markup for the two spirit soul guides isn't too much, that is. I'm a firm believer in never paying for what you don't need and won't use ![]() \m/ Kat ETA: *sigh* no, with the exchange rate as it is, this is out of my range for the moment. And it's quoting postage as more expensive than the damn deck!

I'm full of opinions.....and the deck I say is so ugly today can often wind up being in my hands later. So it's a double edged sword. I hated the Housewives Tarot on sight. Then took another look....and after some time, I completely came to like it. Same with Tarot of the Crone. Not my thing at first, but fell in love with it.

That deck is 'so ugly' it looks like someone drew a bunch of stones and made them into cards, perhaps? At least that way everyone can be appeased about its relative appearance... Anyway, I'm scared if I say untruthful, unkind or even vaguely critical things it will hear me from afar and come get me...at least I will hopefully hear it shuffling itself as it gets closer (and maybe groaning in an unearthly way that somehow also sounds like pebbles on a shore...)!! eeee!! |

That bag is beautiful, but if it doesn't close itself, then I'm not interested. For what good is a shuffling deck if the bag is lazy? The owner really must begin to train the bag if this is to sell properly. Barb

Apellis....you're probably doing us all a favor. We should not be sitting around making fun of a deck that has already killed and may kill again! I mean, who knows how powerful it might actually be? Good point....would we even hear it coming for us? The bag is unusual. This points again to the possibility that unknown influences are involved. BA: perhaps, indeed, the seller should post a video of the wondrous feats the deck (and bag) are capable of? I'm a terrible skeptic. But I might even want to buy this deck if they had footage of it shuffling itself!
