Thanks Kwaw,

With the Dark Grimoire ( just in case its another freak)

LOOKS: Justice/ 2 Pents: She looked honest ( damn) as though she had integrity. I believe she may have had a bit of a perplexed or worried look about her, maybe a furrow in her brow, ut was overall good looking. She may have enjoyed social popularity because of this. I is also possible that her ooks caused he to be in a situation she cold not handle. Both my cards show images of someone being killed, so maybe she was a man killer. ( Lookswise)

PERSONALITY: 6 SwordsRX/ Knight Wands: Something hapened suddenly in her life that changed her plans. Perhaps a diagnosis of ll health, or some other unexpected thing. ( I am not saying this is the case here, but it is like someone who has a kid with a disease and they suddenly become big advocates for a cure for that disease- something like that.) She came across something she didn't expect that may have been negative and dealing with this thing changed her life. Perhaps a precocious, or absent child, maybe a lost child. Maybe her kid ended up on a milk carton.

CAREER: King Wands/ 4 WandsRX: She built something, perhaps having to do with back to nature. Oters thought it was fabulous and she won acclaim for it, but she was more secretly disappointed with the results. I see a tarnished happiness in some way. It is also possible with these two cards that she had an unsanctioned or unapproved marriage with an older man who was creative and down to earth.

SOMETHING SPECIAL: 10 Swords

She must be known for some tragedy. Mothers against drunk driving popped into my head.

ok I went and got the Boho goth...... perfect for freak readings. thanks for the game Kwaw!

Hermit * Ace of swords
a loner. Sharp minded but also had an edge to her! A sharp one that was foreboding. I think she was probably attractive but her tongue belied her beauty. She had a voracious appetite for knowledge. No fear. Explored dark areas and places others would not go. She would go anywhere to uncover the truth!

7 of pentacles * judgement
She was patient. She transformed! She was transformational. She changed things she touched. Brought them life. I don't think she was evil - in fact I think she was good but she brought down evil.

Death * Sun
She put an end to something. She exposed it for the horror it was and a new day dawned. She was twisted! But that was what was needed..... fierce adversary. She had to be a bit off to see the evil behind things and in order to kill it!

base strength and behind that the hierophant
People didn't see her for who she really was.... they were captivated and they trusted her. She was courageous and strong! Intuitive. Communicative! She rocked the establishment. Did things her own way. Trailblazer. She angered a lot of people along the way.

With the Napo Tarot.

PERSONALITY: The lovers.

The image in this card (there's a woman in the front, and a couple behind her) suggest me that she may have a double personality, which may have turned into a mental disorder. She may also have thought a lot about paranormal or celestial things.

CAREER: Page of wands

As a young woman, she had chances of express her creativity, maybe she was an artist of some kind -painter, actress. But being a "page", a child, I think she had problems with keeping her "fire" down. She may had some quarrels and faced the authority figures in her life.

WHAT MADE HER FAMOUS: King of wands.

So, the page became a king. I think she achieved some high position, either professionally or socially. Yet she must have been difficult to please. She loved to be the center of attention. I see her a bit despotic.

Not a 'freak' this time...

Any social popularity she enjoyed was more for her honesty and integrity and .... gender rather than looks.

She was certainly in a situation she was not expected to be in or handle ...

Her very name, given to her by her adoptive father somewhat prophetically, is related to the element she mastered...

Ermmm.... not lookswise, 'someone being killed' was part of what made her a 'world's first'...

Some of this could relate to her own childhood, she was orphaned at an early age, but later adopted by a very famous and powerful man ~ and it could be said her own precociousness as a child changed her life... health problems also effected her education plans...

Well she 'built' an exemplary career that brought her much acclaim - she did marry an older man, sadly her marriage was shortlved - her adoptive father who was a prominent figure could be said to have been creative and down to earth and had a role in enabling and supporting her career, and KofW could apply to him.

getting cold here I think...

Fantastic reading frannie - pretty much spot on all the way...

She was a private person of whom it is difficult to find out much about her personal life - she had a short-lived marriage due to the death of her husband and never remarried - so yes probably a bit of a loner, certainly private in respect of personal life - yes she had a fearless streak -

yes yes yes - she was the very exemplar of the transformational ....

She was a part of a new dawning - and being a fierce adversary was certainly a part of that which made her a world's first...

yep... I would agree she was all those things.

I am not aware of any mental health problems or whether she had an interest in the paranormal - I would think probably not, but there is a sort of 'celestial' thing; do not know the napa, does it have an eros/cupid flying up in the sky?

As a child she certainly was not cowered by authority figures - and wasn't one to keep her 'fire down'.

I think the king of wands could be read literally - while she did achieve a 'high' position she was also associated with a famous 'king of wands' through whose support and influence she was enabled to achieve many of the things she did...

using the Hanson Roberts Mini deck:

ace of rods, wheel fortune, 6 rods rx
the ace of rods makes me feel like this lady was someone who started a business--or something new. there is something attributed to her that was really catching on with the general public. and, being next to the wheel of fortune shows that it was something well noted and thought of. the 6 of rods rx however, indicates that alot of the congratulations for this probably wasn't really attributed to her but to someone else. it may have been her working very hard and really making something go, but the rewards of this benefited another.

6cups rx, temperance, 8 swords, King of Rods
I believe this is indicating that she found herself in a position with no way out, and possibly she had to come to terms with this by distancing herself from those she loved most. most likely a man--her hsuband or s.o.--someone who was very demanding and difficult.

by chance was she an actress? i keep getting this feel that she was.

knight of rods, king of cups, 5 pentacles
the knight of rods indicates to me that perhaps she was the one who ran with the idea of the king of cups. she carried out what he thought up, helping him, but she was left out in the cold when it came to actually being recognized for it.

no guess yet. off to read the others.

it could be said of figuratively and idiomatcally that she was an 'ace' -
an ace indeed, who like the WoF, went up and down...

she did something 'new' for a lady - she was a first of a kind for her nation (she has been called the Emelia Earhart of her nation, but is not so well known in the West, except perhaps by tourists who have passed through the international building named after her); but she also achieved a first of a kind for a woman worldwide. As an exemplar of anothers vision, her example and success was of benefit to the ambitions of the other perhaps in a propogangal sense, but also to another in the sense of her gender in general.

third tme now the king of Rods / Wands has come up in different versions...

i think it is coming up in reference to a man in her life, but not her husband...

her position as a public figure and persona and as an exemplar together with her association and identification with another whose aims and ambitions she supported probably impacted upon her personal life, privacy of which was guarded.

no, not an actress.

this makes sense of certain circumstances of her life, certainly this was a major factor I think...

but she was left out in the cold when it came to actually being recognized for it.
The capital of her country in which there is a major building named after her certainly can get very cold In her own country at least, I think there has been a fair degree of recognition of her own acchievements, though they are unquestionably linked with him as well ...
