Mystery History Game #2

Round #2 ... What historical event am I thinking about?

Welcome to this tarot game where you must guess an historic event. It can be a one day happening or a longer event. It can be an invention that changed history, or a discovery that made it.

Rules:
  • 1 tarot card minimum. You may add oracles or another divination method if you feel like, but you must provide your interpretation of a tarot card. Interpret dates, cultures, persons, characteristics involved, etc
  • The host of the current game must be sure that the chosen historic event is universal, so it can be guessed by anybody, having in mind that members of Aeclectic come from different countries all around the World.
  • The host must provide feedback about the posts, like we do in "mystery person" and "use your powers for good".
  • The participant who wins will host the next game.
  • If in 5 days no one has guessed it correctly, the host of the game can determinate from the participants the closest guess to have a winner and a new game.
  • And the most important rule... Have fun!!!!!!!!!
The second game begins NOW!

...pulling three cards from the herbal deck...

Temperance-Queen wands-Page wands

On the faces of these cards are two women and one child
the herb shepherds purse on the page card brings to mind lost sheep....... perhaps a lost or kidnapped child...or which mother may claim guardianship....hmmm

The page denotes movement...lol, i can't get kidnapping out of my head.

The image you described with the faces is interesting.
You have picked up on some of the feelings~
No kidnapping.

Devil/Fool
Well, the first thing I notice is dark to bright light and emerging new and different. Does this have something to do with caring for the body? Like the stomach up to the chest, hunger, cold, or maybe an illness. The Devil~looks like something had to come to a stop, people had to stay away or wait a bit, held back for some reason. They may have been trapped with no way out but I think this is because someone or something is holding them back, not by their choice. I don't feel warm and fuzzy here! I feel anger and frustration, and fear, this could have been due to someone elses carelessness.

Queen of Wands and Pents/6 of swords
There were women involved or effected a lot, they're friends or at least friendly, they might share a certian bond. It looks like they are looking back at something to check on it, fearful and worried.

Thanks for the new game T4F

Everything you say is SO appropriate for the event/situation except~
Not really due to human carelessness.

This all makes a great deal of sense as well.

WW

You all are as blistering fast at this game as you are with the Mystery Person!

Someone should start a list for all the "used" events to go in... like what's being done for the Mystery Person. I'll link to it in the Games Index.

OK I am going to use a brand NEW deck - Paulina - let's give it a spin.

Mystery event.

Queen of Cups - ships? a queen - columbus and the Nina Pinta and SAnta maria?

5 of cups.... Queen Isabella was a tough one... could still fit.

Ace of wands - new adventure! There is this huge owl.... knowledge and chance, courage and a little magic and luck.

Base: 2 of pentacles.... he is balancing himself on his unicorn while he is juggling 2 pents.....and galloping through the surf....

These cards are beautiful but very busy!! I am still sticking with Columbus.... or an explorer.

There were ships in this area.

The owl would have been significant to the people here.
Magic tied into some to the religious beliefs.
Courage was needed.

”galloping through the surf” -there were horses and surf.
Also this could depict the feeling of the event.

The word ‘busy’ has been used as part of the description of this event.

Interesting comments! I will come back to this one~

Three more cards from the herbal deck...

Empress- 6 wands- 10 wands

Here I see jealousy or a need to conform...the Empress, young, attractive, has a duty or guilt placed on her...she should be like others (6 wands) ....the 6 and 10 are portrayed by men, possibly with an envy of what the Empress is capable of....or fear?
Now I have an idea but I really don't see the 10 wands in play except for the man on it....perhaps a burden of duty to cleanse his town of witches...so I will guess...

The Salem Witch Trials?
