The Rarr Reversed...

Ooomph! This is definitely me today. Since I finally had the strength to do some necessary mental clean up and physical healing exercises yesterday I'm going through the rooooooof!

Energy is suddenly overflowing but very undirected. At least I'm glad that I feel able to *do* thing again instead of just sleeping and sleeping and feeling frustrated. And feeling sorry for myself and others because I can't do my obligations.

Now for some necessary finesse and control... that would be good! Especially since today I'm going to go and see my aunt and that is always a difficult social situation.

Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawrrrrrrr!

Kahlie

Edited to add: I looked at the Card again... for the first time I now notice the 'arms' of the Rarr being upward as if asking for help from above. Yesterday I spend a long time with affirmations as: "I'm willing to accept and receive help" because I did feel that I have been blocked in that for a while. hmmm... interesting!

Now for a cold shower! Like the Card says =) Mostly though I think today I have to hammer on: "I will go at my own pace" that would be good!

Its been a while since this thread has been posted in. Its also been a while since Ive seen my faery friends and thought I would ask what I needed to know right at this time:

Ta'om the Poets popped out at me. He seems reserved to me, gazing out thinking quietly to himself. He is telling me to think carefully about the things I need/want to do and not to use up all my energy in one go.

....its funny, I just read about Ta'om in the book and it seems he has more energy than I thought. So maybe he is representing to me a cross between all the things I am wanting/needing to do yet at the same time telling me dont wear myself out in doing them all at once.

Yes, Ta'om has a lot of energy. A lot of passion, particularly when it comes to creativity. He's kind of deceptive because he seems reserved. But he carries so much fun underneath. The message I always get from him is to write.

Well actually, there are some letters that I need to write and send off that have been on my mind for the last week so this could be the message too. Thanks for posting goldnchyl

I decided to take my cards out and ask what I have not seen that I should lately.

There was Gawtcha.

He tells me I have become settled in route and I need to get out three and change things up.

Just got my deck and did the introductory exercises last night.

My card for today is The Singer of Courage.

Intuitively this card tells me that I have to get out of the protective zone. There are three spikes of energy that emanate from the core of my inner spirit, reaching out far beyond it. If I do as I know I must, the courage of my inner spirit will carry me through whatever must be confronted today.

Pulled Geeeoooo the Slooow today. I guess it is time to slow down, but if I do then everything won't get done... of course it probably won't all get done anyways...

He always does seem to know when I should be slowing down though... last time I didn't listen and got really sick...

Think I'll go outside and enjoy the sunshine (maybe I'll plant a few flowers)

O THAT Gnome showed up with a tickle in my stomach. At first glance, he stymies me... and then as I sit with him, he begins to remind me of one of my friends. One eye is closed but the real eye is looking and watching, so closely he's almost bug eyed! And he's been drinking some, but that's ok.

A little gnose painting never hurt anybody, says the gnome.

The Journeyman... he looks more carefree than I feel. His foot steps into nothingness, the Fool's leap of faith is all I see. So have faith Alissa. Believe you are on the journey, even when it seems foolish to believe it; even when everything tells you there's nothing left to support you on your way.

I see the Earth on the end of his stick today instead of the hobo's bag I usually see. Why am I stuck here in this place? (Because I chose to take this journey). The head he stands upon brings another face to my mind, and I don't want to see it so I stop looking.

"When can I go home?" The Laume. In your dreams, you are back home again, say the Fae. This is true, I even speak the language I can't remember in my dreams. I'm so sick of this realm sometimes. I don't belong here....

"What will give me hope?" Solus's blue eyes pierce me and the tears begin again. He says nothing but regards my emotions placidly, without judgment - without consulation or support, or admonishment... or anything. He has no message at all, only regards me blankly from within his yellow sun.

"What will set me free?" The Oak Men. I am angry again at the first face that comes forward, so I push it away and go back to regular vision, seeing with only my human eyes. The teeth snarl and remind me that age "bites the big one." But yes, "time" is all he has to say. Time will set you free, you stupid little girl - what did you think?

"What do I need to know most about this?" Tears again for Nelys. She waves her wand and whispers in my ear, "Alchemy...." And in that word is everything - the union, the dissolution, the opposites of the universe which are drawn together only to be repelled again, so that they can reunite in a new form once more. So that it can change... so that I will change. So that my soul will undergo the alchemy it must, in order to become the next thing I must be. Which I won't know until time has passed (Oak Men), and until my soul has changed to become what it must.

But when there is nothing left to support you... that is when the true miracles happen... when the true experiences suddenly begin... almost there! You won't be disappointed
