Your daily Faery draw

I went to a funeral today. My friend, her grandfather has passed away. I kept thinking about my own grandfather's funeral that I had gone to so many years ago. I was a kid then. I won't go into all the memories but, I kept reflecting on the funeral of my own grandfather.

I did have a chance to meet Tom a few times (my friends grandfather). I'm glad I got a chance to go to his funeral. When my husband and I were on our way home, I realized I hadn't the time to find out who my faery companion was for the day, and so I shuffled them (as they came with me). One card, lightly leaped out at me. So I took that as a sign and turned it over. It was 'lys of the shadows'. She spoke loads to me today, as well as a few other spirits. But she is the one that opened the gate for those spirits to flow freely back and forth between the heavens and the mortal world.

It was a while ago that I drew him, and I'm not even sure what exactly his name is, but I keep wanting to call him "Piper" after the "pied piper". I kept looking at his fluid movements, in how he seems to "float" through nature. Holding his flutes and playing them gently, as he seems so absorbed in his own playing that he's unaware of his surroundings, and yet, he moves through it like he knows every inch of it (and probably does know it). This is a faery that hardly ever shows himself to me, and b/c of his absence in my readings, I don't know what he means really. Just...music. I see him playing his flutes and he speaks nothing else. I don't play instruments, and I'm not interested in learning, so I don't take it "literal". I'm going to research him here, and see what I can find out about him.

Today I got the Singer of Connection. Now I have to explain here, it's been so rainy for a week now, cloudy, stormy, thunderstorms, and just plain cold. It feels like it went straight from summer to winter in a weeks time. But today...today...the sun is shining bright, and it's lighting up everything around it. Everything looks so illuminating today, and it's BEAUTIFUL. The leaves are so green the flowers are incredible colors, and I think of Lady of the Harvest and this will probably be the last "warm" day of the year. A day that the kids can wear shorts, and play in the parks. I do feel so incredibly connected to the days energy, and feel my own chakra points in tuned with the energy here. It feels good.

I had Mikle a Muckle yesterday, he is such a nice faerie to have around. Today I walked out of the house without doing a draw so I guess Mikle is still with me. I hope so. I need to be reminded to be lighthearted, and not so jaded right now. Stress and sadness over some recent events have had me a bit gloomy indeed, I need Mikle's view of the world now. So I guess in the end Mikle is my card of the day today as well because I need him to be.

Ive got 2 for today. Honesty and Losgunna. Ive had Losgunna so much lately, I really love this faery.

When I saw honesty and looked at his big brown eyes, he made me think of a little puppy dog and I just wanted to cuddle him!

Today I had two Faeries pop out of the deck while shuffling to get my Faerie companion of the day ... and it is two Singers that are with me today. Ekstasis and Souls. Makes me wonder what is afoot ....

You won't believe this Jewel, but I got 3, and one of them is Solus.

I got Singer of Connection, Solus, and Mike a Muckle....now isn't that an odd bunch. *ponders this one*

I had Mikle the Muckle for a couple of days ... he is fun, and will keep things a little light for you with all that singer action going on. Mikle is probably there to tell you that Faunabay has mailed the traveling deck and they are on their way to you as I type this *LOL*.

Have you noticed how recently several of us are having more than one card pop up unintended, and that if you read through the posts how within a couple of days we get a card someone just had? They are making the rounds and there is a lot of singer action going on.

Indeed I have, and I've thought it strange activity myself. Thinking that these are the very fae that whispered in all of our ears (for us oldies) to come back and start studying together again. As faeries and singers alike go round and round, talking to each of us. Some of us on the same day (like you and I both had Solus and we both had another faery on another day together too).

Today (although it's not over) has been fun. I've had "singer of connection" a lot as of late, as I work on my meditations, and other types of internal work. I feel like, I have a lot of projects going on at once, but nothing visiable, their all internal, and maybe something to keep an external record. The few things that are external, like reading, I'm keeping no records as it's just lesiure reading.

Today I have drawn Iris of the Rainbow. There are 3 things that are really popping out in the card to me as I llok at it. The glass bubble under her foot, the blue shawl she has drapped about her, and the rainbow. It is first thing in the morning so I am not yet quite clear of the significance, but if any of you have any ideas I would love to hear them!
