RWS Ten of Pentacles
Hi, Forgive me if this has been asked (I couldnt see any on past posts search) but Ive been wondering about the 10 of Pentacles in my RWS deck. It is different to all the other cards in the deck in that it has the signature at the top rather than the bottom and a white rectangular section where the other cards do not.I thought at first the white must be the top of the arch but it doesnt seem congruent. Also many of the other cards have the signature over dark print so why is this card different? Any ideas or knowledge on why this is so would be great. |

I wouldn't know of any reasons meaning, I haven't read anything about that anywhere. But then, I didn't read toooo much about Tarot, I rather went the learning-by-doing course and picked my books very carefully with regard to being practical and "usable". ~~~~~ But I just have a spontaneous idea why this could be the case, and it's quite simple: artistic freedom. At least that's how I've looked upon it all my Tarot life. ![]() Maybe somebody else has some 'more academic' stuff to tell...
