Contacting the Dead?
Hi all! I've been searching around the forums and seen a few things that might work but I thought I'd ask too just in case I might have missed anything. I'm looking for a spread to help out a friend who is trying to get some answers about a deceased loved one. It's an interesting situation where she wants to know if the spirit of her deceased uncle is around her daughter and if there is any information on how he died since when he passed no autopsy was done and no cause of death was ever known. I've been doing some direct contact with the spirit but having a hard time getting clear answers so I wanted to try and use tarot to get some more answers. I've played with a few things but would like some suggestions. I didn't know if maybe anyone had a spread they use for people looking to contact a loved one that's passed on (I'm looking for something in that vein rather than something to get information about a random spirit). Your friend can set up a simple boveda, if your friend talks to it on a regular basis and keeps it up her ancestor spirits will start talking and popping up in dreams. An ancestor altar can be as simple as a glass of water, a white candle and the occasional offering. |
