See, I did one w/my paintings & little sculptures - & sold almost NADA. I'm afraid that will happen again, though what I'm selling is different - I'm trying to move a lot of Barbies that I repaint & clothe w/primarily my own designs.

I'm afraid that many of them would be just a little bit on the pricey side; I am going keep as many as I can, within an "affordable" range. But - it IS a kind of specialty market, & I'm just not sure that they would sell; even a couple would make me back my $$$ outlay, but I'm afraid that even that much won't happen.

well, it sure doesn't look as dire as you're afraid it is. this reading is all about your creativity and art. make the choice you're worried about making. people will, even in the current climate (and, i've noticed personally, maybe even moreso now) spend money on a relatively small luxury that is handcrafted and personal... we're wanting to support other people, not corporations, and still feel we have something special, and handmade items do that. it's a trend you can capitalize on.

the thing you must not forget is to take your confidence along with you! you're selling your crazy artist self as much as you are the dolls and it'll help if you remember that and, rather than being worried (or, dog forbid, apologetic - ick), be charming and upbeat, almost aggressive.

i'm not sure i can explain how i do this, but highlights include stix for creative work, creator, charisma, opportunity in crisis, and the lovers. nearly the entire wands court is represented in one way or another. this is a passionate, creative crowd!

You know, you are absolutely right - so I am hoping that if I promote both my Etsy & my eBay stores, MAYBE I'll get more sales online, as well!

[b]Yes, at 43 I am finally starting to learn how to sell myself - I practiced at that show, but to little avail simply because THERE, I was a total square trying to fit in a perfectly ROUND hole!! ><

At this - well, I won't be QUITE so "odd", if a bit unique.

Well, ok - I got an oracle reading from someone that said, "DEF do it, it will be SOOOOO worth it" - she got "The Earth Mother" (I think it's the Froud set she was using).

Much the same thing - fruitfulness, & a really good situation.

Ok, that settles it - I will send in my app next month, 1st thing.

this is GREAT news--and actually one I have heard a few times in readings. I know it is about my thoughts with developing a webpage for my tarot and oracle readings, and possibly later adding the medium readings. I'm waiting for a family member who designs websites to come back from vacation for help. so hopefully this will be really getting into action in another week or two.

Interestingly, this is 1 step back from where you are in the coming month, so it may mean a bit of back-tracking. yes, story of my life. sometimes when i get interested in something big, i tend to jump right into step #5 and then realize I have to go back and do steps 1, 2, 3 and 4 first! it's the story of my life! so i'm sure this time won't be any different--tho I tell myself it will be and I won't jump too far ahead! as for the vacation--well, we travel ALOT. sometimes for the husbands business--but even then, we always try to put in a few fun events to make those trips more enjoyable. so, travel is a strong possibility--and I always try to make it as much of a vacation as possible! After coming back from a weeks vacation- (real vacation--NO BUSINESS), I must admit, I wouldn't mind just staying home for a month and relaxing here--or as you say, "resting on your laurels" one of my mothers favorite terms!

Are you still doing these? I've never had a reading with Alchemy Stones before. I've never really heard of them. If you are. I just want to know if life is going to pick up now. I've been told that I am at crossroads right now in my life, and things should be getting better soon. I just want to confirm it. I just got out of a bad situation a couple of months ago, and basically my life has been at a standstill. Nothing good has happened (except getting out of the situation) and nothing bad.
