Hello HexeH,
I have been working with the Gypsy cards for awhile now, and really love them. I just wanted to comment that the cards that are on the middle link are gorgeous! I've never seen that rendition before.....drool drool. I would love to collect some of the different styles to the most common deck available.

It took me awhile to begin understand the language that the cards wanted to use with me, but by working with them diligently every day, they are really starting to speak to me - now I really love them!

I've found by keeping a journal of my draws with them, that I'm getting more insights - I'd recommend that practice for anyone trying to learn a new deck.
Thanks for sharing the varied artwork....are they available anywhere?

The cards are not related to Gypsies at all, they believed then the playing cards (and tarot) came from the Gypsies, that theory has been since debunked, so some decks were called Gypsy. What real Gypsies have been practicing for generations is palmistry.

Hi HexeH! I'm so glad you made a post about this. I use and love the Gypsy Fortune Telling Cards (I have the No.1901 by Piatnik deck), but I really love the pictures you've posted for this deck (http://www.boszorkanystudio.hu/ck.jpg). It's absolutely beautiful!

I had learned how to read these cards on my own by practice through the years, but I've always been very curious about the Hungarian view on the cards. What you've posted sounds great, and I hope to see more insights on the cards from you.

Gypsy fortune telling cards deck is also very popular in Serbia, and also in all other former Jugoslavia republics. I mean in Piatnik No. 1901.
