Charles de Lint's Weirdin oracle

HudsonGray

I got into Charles de Lint's novels recently, and came across his bone/antler divination system (mentioned in several books & short stories). Here I thought it was something real, like runes, but it turns out to be totally made up.

Oh well. But it is complex enough to actually work as an oracle, I'm wondering if anyone has tried making a set of them?

The full grouping of 61 disks (they're double sided) and the spread cloth they work on are described in the appendix of the book Moonheart.

I'm new here but on going through the past posts I saw this and just had to answer it.
I have made a set of Weirdin, and did in the past use them quite frequently, though I must say I have moved on to use so many other forms of divination, I just tend to forget about them. They do work, and if you are patient enough to let them speak to you, the are surprisingly accurate for such a fictional system
