How do I energetically clear hematite?
I did a search on this and was unable to find any threads specifically about hematite. I would appreciate hearing your views on the best ways to clear a hematite ring that has absorbed a lot of negativity. Thank you in advance! |

I appreciate this advice. Showering and handwashing ought to keep the ring in pretty good shape energetically, then, as long as it's dried well afterward. Thanks again! |

clearing any stones
Water of course is excellent...but there are other ways you may want to explore...check under the thread" cleansing calcite"...have fun...there are so many possibilities...

all this isn't necessary, hematite cleans himself...that's why i posted in the thread cleaning calcite that you can clean stones with a piece of rough hematite because it cleans himself...maybe just let it rest for a couple of days...he does the job himself  i will look for more info about it so you can read it yourself

I have heard that there are some stones that don't need clearing because they "recycle" energy (more or less). I did read the recommended thread on cleansing calcite and remember your post about rubbing a stone with a piece of hematite to clear it -- then I wondered if the hematite, itself, would need to be cleared after awhile, if used repeatedly in that manner. The piece of hematite I have is a polished ring, not a rough stone, and I wasn't sure if the energy was the same. I know very little about this subject and am eager to learn. Thank you for answering my question! |

I have been using sound energy to clear my stones lately. My Reiki mater uses her singing bowl to lear the crystals she uses after a session, and is teaching me how to do this too. Instead of running the wooden dowel around the edge of the bowl to make it sing, for cleaning, she lightly taps the edge, so it produces a tone. She proceeds to circle it counterclockwise 3 times over the stones, and 3 times clockwise. This cleanses delicate stones which may not like water (Halite) or salt cleansings (Moldavite). It is a gentle tone, so sonic vibration doesn't crack the crystals or the bowl!
