What is your decks favourite card?
I thought for fun i'd ask my deck what its favourite card is and i got the "king of cups" i found this quite funny as the 1st thought that came to my mind was "i want respect". I've seen in another thread about cards having "personalities" and i think the king of cups is deffinatly the personality my cards have. Would be interesting to see if other peoples decks gave them a card to represent the personality you feel that they have

Hm, Quite interesting! I just asked my deck, and got the 10 of chalices. I guess it's fairly fitting for this deck, it's the tarot art nouveau one. Though it doesn't always necessary dish out some good news, it really seems to be about guiding you towards the better path to happiness. |

I asked my Golden and I drew the Knight of Wands. It fits my deck's personality; grand and showy. This deck seems to be very chatty and it always gets attention. |

I asked my Universal Waite deck and got Strength! Fits since I use them the most and the Waite decks have been around awhile!

Very neat idea! I asked my (new) Paulina Tarot Deck and got the King of Swords. I think this card is very fitting for the deck! (Even though I just got it a few days ago and am just getting acquainted with it.) I believe this deck is going to challenge me to think and is going to give unbiased readings (hopefully I will cooperate!). This deck wants to lead me to right places and to communicate with me and those I read for. This deck wants me to pay attention and listen up! |

I'll have to ask my actual Deck I'm using at the moment (Pocket Universal Waite). But when I saw the question, I was gonna answer you which cards are my favorite from which Deck. ie: Robin Wood: Magician Devil. Death Favole: Devil Vargo Gothic: The Hermit But I'll post what my Pocket UW likes as its fave card soon

By "favourite" card, are you asking which card the deck as a whole likes best, or which is most representative of it? (It may, after all, be attracted to a quality that is not big in it - most of us seek out partners that fill in our gaps rather than duplicates of us, after all). |

My favourite in any deck is the 9 of Pentacles. It makes me think of me.....happy alone in my little cottage with my garden, happy with my own company, having achieved what I have done over the years, content... ![]() Ang x |

I've only got two decks near me at the moment, the Mystic Faerie deck and my Jane Austen deck. Two very different decks! The Mystic Faeries went with the Three of Cups, which sounds about right. They like being able to celebrate, and have fun, they do NOT like addressing the more serious points of life, which makes them excellent cards to use when I want to be cheered up. ![]() The Jane Austen however, went the Nine of Coins. That's very much like Jane Austen herself. She had disappointments yes, but in the end, she was a woman of independent means, and this deck wants to help ME find independence as well. Not quite on that scale, of being a celebrated author, but helping me find things that I can do without relying on other people (the fella in particular...) |
