Hi

I ever tried to get an energetic access to the Lenormand System. Normaly it´s only used as a collection of symbolic cards. But I pretend that I can show a few inner connections, what makes a systematical approach possible.

And also I always had a little a problem with the "normal" cards, because the energetic expression is to weak in my eyes. Thats a thing what I want to intensify by painting "energetic cards". They shall have simple symbols with a clearer energetic expression. And also the colours shall underline this direction. These are my first scetches

Well, the first 16 cards are finished. But I want to start with introducing the first four. These are Nr.1 the rocket, Nr.8 the death, Nr.25 the ring and Nr.32 the moon.

Why these four? Well I took the first one and following the three cards with the same position in relation to the middle of the first 32 "houses" (please see above).

These are the cornercards, and they all have a same common content. In all the four cards the former tendency coming from the middle suddenly breaks down. So you get a contrary meaning in the corners (similar as the 5th in Tarot).

1. The Rocket (normaly a horseman)
The rocket is the active part of the moon. This is the area of earth. The rocket breaks out.

8. The Death (normaly coffin)
You see a wreath, as we use at a burial. In the area of air thinking comes to an end, and the ring (25) is gonna be split of in the four elements again.

25. The Ring

In the area of water (everything flows together to one) the ring shows new connections. For connections we need an inside and an outside, what means new life, new separation.

32. The Moon

The moon is the passive part of the rocket. After the sun has burned out all its fire it needs energy from outside. This is a normal effect in a cycle.

I love your thinking - of the relationships between the cards. I tend to look at the cards individually with Lenormand. This will have me looking at them differently, adding a new depth to them.

I´m very pleased that this is interesting for you. I just can´t use any cards without understanding, how they really work or what they base on. In this case I really was surprised to find such a lot of logical structure.

This is the back of the cards. I was inspired by a pupils work I found in the internet. I think, the crossing waves are a very fitting and decorative symbol for energy and the differences inside an energetic field.

I corrected the positions of the images in the CMYK version. Please download again, if you already did.

And this ist the RGB version. Normaly also works in a copyshop and maybe looks better than the CMYK version. Just try and maybe report for the others
