What crystal is this?
This thread is for newbies to post a crystal that he/she dont know about. I bought a crystal is in brownish red, orange and yellowish white color. The color is in a few layers. Is like..swiss roll but in the colors i mentioned. |

I have a Tiger Eye but is it in yellow and black in color. And the one i have is red,orange,brown and white in color. It is a bit of the Tiger Eye pattern just different colour and ugier =X |

Going by the four colours that you mentioned (red, orange, brown and white), and the layers/bands without seeing it I'm guessing at "jasper". Jasper is a variety of quartz. You didn't mention, I'm just assuming that the stone is opaque, is it? |

Wow, that site charges about 4 times more than the same stones you can find at a gem/mineral/rock shop or new age store, and THOSE are twice what you'd pay at a gem & mineral show. Best prices are always at the yearly shows. $20 for a stone 1/2" long? Geez! That type is $4 at most at the shows. |

Agate?
