Need help identifying crystals/gemstones
Today I received some gemstones which I don't know. Does anyone know how they are called? I've attached two pictures that show them from both sides. Top row: 1. (mossy green & brownish pink - I know I've seen this kind of stone before but can't remember the name... heliotrope maybe?) 2. (brown & beige stripes) Bottom row: 3. (light turquoise green with opaque off-white and dark grey) 4. (dark red with black spots - is this jasper?) 5. (off-white with a slight greenish/yellowish tinge) Thank you for your help!

I've been told the names of the stones by now (I opened this thread before my generous giver had a chance to get back to me - impatient? me?!  ).Together with your suggestions, my list now looks like this: 1. unakite 2. striped aragonite 3. green dolomite 4. mahogany obsidian 5. moonstone Can anyone confirm this for me? |
