Yes here at MountainRose, I checked late last night and they weren't sold out but today apparently they are. You can make your own tincture, it's fairly easy all you need is some cheesecloth, vodka, canning jar, strainer and a dropper bottle. I assume what you are using is a tincture since you said it's in a bottle OR you can make an infusion out of it.
Thanks, I bookmarked it for later, when they restock. I'd rather grow my own, if I could just find some. It's supposed to grow rampant in our area & is one of the first to flower in spring; I've done a lot of tromping around over the years. A friend of mine gave me a start 3 yrs ago but it didn't *take* & I have a green thumb. I've got a 5' banana, pomegranate grown from seed, a 3' pineapple, & this is NOT the tropics. Hey, anyone want a start from a tropical passiflora?

When I make a tincture I usually don't strain it till it's ready to use, when I'm decanting. I'm also searching for Motherwort, which was all over the place in Michigan.

I tried this one christmas period when all the shops & the doctors surgery were shut. Worked a treat, but I had pink eyes for the next 3 days.......

P.S. I ate the garlic sliced up in a half-slice of dry bread,
LOL When I have a sore throat I gargle with milk (with honey). The honey works as antibiotic, and the milk as emollient. Works fantastic and your head doesn't explode *snicker*

Oh, and another vote for milk thistle. Licorice isn't recommended for people with high blood pressure, so I'd use milk thistle instead.
