Help me find this, please!

Mods-- I wasn't exactly sure where to post this request, but I thought since we have games on finding things, this was the right forum.

Okay. I have this $10 Gap Rewards certificate that I seem to keep losing. I couldn't find it a few weeks ago, then found it. I was about to use it and kept it near my computer, then didn't. Now I can't find it again.

I *swear* it's in my bedroom, but I looked all over and can't find it. It's driving me crazy. I know it's not like some precious item like a ring from my deceased relative or anything, but it is important to me right now b/c I am SO poor and $10 is a lot of money to me right now. I need it to buy a dress for my goddaughter's baptism, and that $10 is really going to help me out.

So if anyone can pull some cards, shake some pendulums, etc., I'd really appreciate it. I did the pend and it said it was still in my bedroom and near the floor. But, I may just be getting anxious and forcing this outcome by swaying the pend subconsciously... lol. But anyway... I was going to go shopping this afternoon for a dress since the baptism is the 13th (*gulp*). So... even if you aren't positive about what you see, just post it anyway. I know it's still in this house somewhere. It's just a matter of finding it in time.

If it's not under the bed; it could be trapped near something that's metallic and shiny, but I had this vision of a bookcase shelf and books. the green and red in the picture stands out to me, though I definitely see grey/brown carpet (I'm just winging it) so maybe it's behind the bookcase or dresser if you have one.

Okay, it was NOT in my bedroom. BUT... the "red and green" thing you said seemed SO confident, so I decided to go with that. There's no carpet in my bedroom and no bookcase/shelves/books, so I tried to think where something like that could be in my house. So I started to look for red and green around where I had carpet. And I saw this bag my mom had given me (one of those grocery bags you use at the stores instead of asking for paper/plastic). So I looked in that (because it had all red and green all over it-- only thing in my house that has red and green like that) and there was nothing in there, obviously. But then, I noticed that the red/green bag was sitting on this plastic tub (whiteish-grayish) that houses white rice. Kinda shiny looking too. It sits on the floor against the divider that separates the hallway and kitchen. The carpet is in the hall, and the kitchen floor is this brown/orange/yellow vinyl design that looks like the 80's threw up all over it. SO anyway... I started to think about what you typed... carpet... red/green... gray... shiny... so I pulled the rice tub away from the divider, and LO AND BEHOLD!-- THERE WAS MY GAP CERTIFICATE!!!!!!! Seriously. If you hadn't typed those colors out and mentioned carpet, I would have kept looking in my non-carpeted bedroom and just given up. I would have never thought to look there. Very good job! Thank you!!!!!!!
