Chinese Astrology

I have no background in any types of astrology.

I heard that in Chinese astrology, they believe that everything is assigned to a particular star in the sky. In the old time, astrologers look at the star and can tell people's faith. They can even predict events because everything is assigned to a particular star and they look at the movement of that star.

They don't use chart. The key here is each star represents one thing, not like the transits of seven planets in twelve houses in Western astrology.

How does it work ? or anyone knows anything about this system ?

Which type of Chinese Astrology? There's a couple. The most common are Bazi and Purple Star. Stars are used in both. Sounds like you're referring to purple star astrology. A chart is actually used in both, but you're correct in saying its not at all like the western system.

I have no idea which type I am talking about. All I know is it is Chinese astrology. It sounds very cool to me !!!
