I was shuffling today and I thought 'where is the giggling?' When Im shuffling the FO theres always giggling and faeries pushing themselves forward or to the back etc. Its a fun party.

This shuffling is far more elegant I think maybe they do the same just quitely. Perhaps they are still on their best behaviour as I havent had them very long lol.

Today I pulled the queen of shadows and when I opened the book I turned directly to her page. Rather than something coming out of the darkness, I think it could reflect putting something back in there. I've worked with a lot of my insecurities and 'darkness' recently and I need a change of tempo, of being positive not dark.

So I pulled 2 other cards to see if anything will make sense and got
The Joy of the Future and the Star Faerie and Im sooo happy to see these cards. I want to smile and giggle and laugh and feel HAPPY. I had a bit of a giggling fit on saturday and it made me realise just how theres been such a lack of laughter in my life, I mean, I shouldnt find giggling a rare thing in my life! So I need some giggles, some joy! And lots of it , today and always.
The Star Faerie is gorgeous. Inviting connection the universe and how I am made of stardust, faerie dust.

Oh no! The Song and Shadow from the Past

and I have no idea LOL .

The Oh No looks like a total gatecrasher, someone who has just appeared, the worst person or thing to just appear and mess up a tidy toadstool. Its almost as thought he's sucked the colour from the card.. it was a beautiful toadstool scene till he came and sucked it out..
I feel this could refer to how I was doing so well last night getting ready for bed early, asleep etc, and then a friend called and I had a 2 and half hour conversation with them. Im now completely shattered and feel drained. But happy coz it was sooo good to speak to my friend. But, just wish it was at a more sociable hour (for me!).
The Song - Like she wants to throw away the mask and just SHINE with whatever there is inside, wanting to burst into song yet cant yet. Has to keep things hidden, masked, pretending.
The Shadow of the Past - Its a crazy looking card, again, drained of colour, and i really dont know what its trying to suggest.

in a spread I have bright spark, The Hero, Tink

Bright spark I think reflects my day.. how in spending time with someone, and seeing them wanting to spend time with me.. well.. It really has lightened my day!

The Hero is looking deeply at the Bright Spark, and there is something about it, I think the Hero is reflecting just a phase of my life at the moment of navigating and trying to wade through the darkness... and today I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.. start to put my stuff in order.

Tink is there.. and I think Tink is saying 'oi, remember me! We used to be so good together, I'd rant, you'd rant, you'd want to fight, I'd help you.. those were the DAYS'. Shes reminding me that I need to feel that energy.
First came the light, then the sorting out of stuff, then the fiesty missus energy back.

today ive pulled prick up your ears, the big behind and the challenge and not forgetting bright spark that flew out of the deck for me lol.

OK so advice today is to listen to whats being said, to act rather than react, to actually see it from another perspective before jumping to conclusions... and thats going to hard says the Challenge. Maybe there will be something very difficult about what listening and understanding the situation for me.

Bright spark is there tho, reminding me of all the good stuff from yesterday. This is not a doom and gloom reading, its full of light and intrigue. I pulled another card and got The Gift and so I just need to remember that what happens is for good of me, not something to be tense and worried about

OK - these are the exact 3 cards I pulled yesterday when I first got my pack! I think they are trying to tell me something

The Crone speaks to me of inner wisdom borne from experience while the Queen of Owls relates to physical healing. This groups of cards suggests to me that I know that some attention needs to be paid to my physical health and also that I know what needs to be done. The Queen of the Night is the voice that whispers my desires for food I know is not doing me much good.

The Messenger turns up as a cautionary card regarding listening to gossip according to the book. The Faerie of Growth tells me that change is on the way while The Maiden tells me that this change will lead to renewed feelings of enthusiasm and wonder.

Putting it together, I think the message for today is change is coming which will lead to renewed enthusiasm in your life. You will lose that jaded perspective. The messenger suggests that the change may not necessarily be what it appears to be at face value. Then again, the tricksy messenger may just be allowing me to 'think' I've got the right message but it is not what it appears to be.

The Big Behind, The Challenge and The Sorcerer
OK so I have some left over energies from yesterday as I have 2 of ydays fairies..

and the sorcerer.. well interesting help is always useful!

ETA - LOL I know now exactly what the sorcerer was referring to, and WOW. And I faced up to the challenge of drawing and colouring in I made a pretty picture!

I asked for some things to think about/ ponder this evening.

The Faerie of Youth, The Pan, and the Queen of the Golden Bough.

All three cards are encouragement for the weeks ahead. I'll be busy, creative, and the changes I'm experiencing now will keep expanding. The Queen of the Golden Bough is reminding me that shedding old insecurities is an important(painful) step. The Faerie of Youth is telling me that I can.....and The Pan to keep my eyes open, so I won't miss the wonder!

today 10/april 2010 I have drawn
The Shadow of the Past, The Pan, The Lady of Joy

Hmmm I feel nervous today. I have organised a wee tarot get together in a local pub and im so nervous now. What if no one turns up? What if its so boring and like pulling hens teeth?

Well the cards dont seem to agree, Pan and Lady of Joy suggest something full of light love and life, something that will be the beginning of something fab! Even if its just a few friendly faces when I go to the conference later this year etc.
The Pan and the Lady are looking forward, the Shadow of the past is sort of there in the background.. and im not sure why. Hmmph.

ETA - People did come, and it was awesome! I think, wow, I organised something and it was fab to just sit with 2 other people I felt I had always known! Just amazing (even if I did think about chickening out but shhh).
The Shadow reflects me just thinking about old stuff. I walked to a place that was filled with an echo from the past, but I also looked deeper into the past concerning my father than I had never realised before... and it overwhelmed me with how lucky I am to have a Dad like I do, and how much I love him (even though he drives me mad).
Today I realise how lucky and special people are in my life.. Im honoured, overwhelmed and humbled..

and yes, joyful!
