A total newbie joins the ranks!

Hello, internet,
I recently bought a pack of Albano-Waite Tarot cards (I like the bright oversaturated colours; they also seem -- to me at least -- to have a bit of colour symbolism behind them) after having bought a book on Tarot the week previous and was immediately surprised when I discovered that "holy crap, this actually works." And does it work well.

I've done some readings (several for myself and two for others) and all the times I've had very logical, very easy-to-understand results. My cards seem to like me.

I've "memorized" my meanings of the cards (don't worry, I've read a couple books and lurked through this forum enough to know that the meanings aren't set in stone and your own interpretations are what matter most) and believe I've made very big strides in a very short time.

But, as my morning three-card reading (I took the spread from this forum! ) this morning told me in an inverted King of Pentacles (answering "Where am I now?"), I have much to learn, but I may become the King of Wands (answering "Where am I going?") by following what feels good and right. (I took this meaning from the Three of Cups answering the question "How will I get there?" What do you guys think of this interpretation?)

I look forwards to a great learning experience with all of you fine, mystcal people.

yes, they really do work!!! cool, huh?

the 3 of cups could also be that you will get there through sharing with all of us here on AT! the 3 of cups is about group activities and having fun too--and I think you will do both here on AT. it's a great place to learn and develop your skills and sharing as you go along with the rest of us here. I've only been here two weeks and I'm totally hooked! I became a subscribing member because I can't imagine being without this site. I'm a novice as well and you couldn't be in a better place to learn than here! The members are extremely generous with their knowledge and patient with those of us who are new to tarot (or oracles or runes or..or...).
