Very gentle pimping: MerryDay
Yes I know it is OOP. But I like this deck and was unable to use it because of the weird numerological system Louisa Poole added to each card. I am also not a huge fan of keywords... The worst though is the cryptical renaming of Court cards... A mix of elemental, traditional RWS and seasonal fantasy... OMG!!!! You know what comes next... Johnny Dee is back in town
Now, I had fun with this inexpensive deck. The cards are thin so it was easy to trim. The ink attaches and dries well. Some cards are really ugly (but as AJ say, don't expect pretty...) yet it is now usable for me, tiny, perfect to carry around. BEFORE NOW: woohoo, see attachments :-P Hermit is a new man, Queenie of Pents got a bunny, High Priestess is a disco queen, etc. __________________ "Give up defining yourself - to yourself or to others. ETA: the possible extra silver effects that you saw probably just came from my eeeexcellent camera and my stunning kitchen table "studio" lighting. Yet, how visionary... silver, let's silver the whole bloody MerryDay :-D Off to bed, almost 10pm here. Please post loads of nice scans so that I can see them from work tomorrow ;-) __________________ "Give up defining yourself - to yourself or to others. You won’t die. You will come to life." E. ![]() I do have a few more but my depth of field is off. I'll take more tonight (using the other lens) of the pimped ones next to the plain cards. |

That Merryday was awesome. I've never even heard of that deck before today. I loved it. And I love what you've done with the Dee. If we hadn't just gotten what I'm thinking is the storm of the century, I'd be working on mine. But instead I'm watching it. I can't do any pimping just now anyway because I lack materials until I go to the craft store, probably tomorrow or the next day.

I love your 8 of Cups! Same old song indeed ![]() I don't remember any happy cards from when I owned it. I passed it on to TCO but I don't know if he still has it. I couldn't work with it. Everytime I picked it up I saw blood and fire and people in pain, overactive imagination I guess. ![]() Okay, let me take some pictures while it is still light out! BRB |
