I'm arriving on Thursday evening I think...if anyway sees me and recognises me, please say hi! I'll be arriving very early Friday morning so I can get to SFMOMA as soon as it opens and spend the day wallowing in abstract art. In the evening, I'll be on the lookout for anyone wandering the hotel grounds clutching a small pouch that looks like it could contain 78 cards. Sherryl |

I have now seen Emily Carding (Sidhe-Ra) do an interpretive dance to depict the tarot's flight from the destruction of Atlantis and into Egypt. Worth the price of admission! __________________ "Ah, it is the fault of our science that it wants to explain all; and if it explain not, then it says there is nothing to explain." - Abraham Van Helsing from Dracula by Bram Stoker Last edited by Shade; 30-08-2010 at 15:13. |

>> I << finally got to meet Baroli! ![]() Emily Carding definitely made BATS 2010 for me in many many ways. She has reinvigorated the Transparent Tarot Mad Scientist, got me interested in the Transparent Oracle and provided the single best moment of BATS with her interpretive dance! Yeah, I didn't see Umbrae either, but that Dan guy does magic tricks. Whodathunkit? I ended up spending more money at Fields Bookstore than I did at BATS! ![]() Martin, Your Companion and Mike, sorry for leading you astray on the way to Fields. I have 3 new tarot-related prints now that I need to get framed and hung up on my tarot wall. And as I thought, both my Bohemian Gothic and Tarot of the Burroughs arrived on Friday when I went right to SF from work instead of coming home first. Grrrrr!!!!! My nice, comfy bed is calling out to me. Loved meeting everyone and many of you will be hearing from me again soon! Rodney __________________ Smile. It makes people wonder what you're thinking.... |
