The LWB says “Everything begins with the first movement towards the goal”. In the card we see two hands reaching out towards a skull on a stake. Is this a gesture of adoration or frustration? Is the goal death and therefore not worth pursuing?

Sometimes death can become the goal, if there seems to be nothing else to go for. At least it would be the end of suffering.

I see this as adoration and for me this is about adoring life in all its forms. The biological cycles and how everything returns and transforms for ever. I like this Ace a lot. I find the same adoration in the other Aces as well.
