Caved in.. ordered the Deck.

I feel I cant post in the Study Group pages without actually having the deck lol.

So it'll probably be here roughly ish around my birthday which is why I was holding out anyway. LOL.

HC will have to find pics of me and Le Fanu waiting for our decks lol.

That's it! You all have enabled me enough! I've been lurking in this thread and not saying anything, secure in my 'Wait until it's on the shelf of UK bookshops before I buy,' decision.

I was holding strong... but not strong enough. I've just ordered.

Cookies are good... but now that I've joined the dark side, and much more Vampyre-y, it means I'll be bringing along the cupcakes. On the menu today? Red Velvet cupcakes with a boiled vanilla frosting. Vampyres need their red velvet. It's in keeping with the theme, after all.

On-topic: it was all the discussion of the book, and the interpretations, and the realization that I'm much more like the angsty teenagers than I really ought to be. It might just be that this speaks to that aspect of myself I pretend doesn't exist. I don't have an inner child, but I do have an inner sulky teenager...
