Forgot to say thank you to rachelcat, I'm sure I'll love the book. Grizabella, I appreciate that. It's a long haul. I'm trying to prepare myself for three more tries, which were basically paid for in the package (four total) so there must be a reason they put four tries together in one package rather than having you pay for each one separately. It's about $2000 plus more for each of the next three tries. Lots more shots and so on. The little I've seen on this is that it takes more tries for everyone except the very lucky lotto winners. Thanks for the confidence! ![]() I'm not really myself right now, and some of the things I'd like to get done, aren't getting done, so to those of you who have noticed, please bear with me. __________________ "... until his ceiling hung with vines and the walls became the world all around. ~ Maurice Sendak "Some of the things I believed are no longer beliefs and some things I have said were bordering on absurd; some very funny looking back, and some were just mistakes of enthusiasm." ~Rosanne |

From what I've seen (I'm a havin'babies junkie---I watch all the baby-birth TV shows on cable, have helped with a home delivery or two, and show up with bells on as birthing coach whenever called upon ) they transfer more than one embryo because that way there's a greater chance that at least one will "take". Sometimes they hit the jackpot and that's when 5-7 or 8 babies will implant and then the fun begins. You can end up a John and Kate plus 8 or something. I'm going to send you a package sometime within the next week or so with something special to keep with you while you go through this. Not a Nonny package, but just something from me to you.

Grizabella, that is so kind of you. Thank you for your thoughts. (My doc only puts in two at a time......so no litter for me! But twins are a very good possibility.) Thank you for keeping my hopes up. This is the hard part. When I'm getting the very painful shots in the butt every day, I feel pretty good. Like I'm DOING something!

(((AIO))) My heart is aching for you, because I've been through it all too. Just without the happy ending. But you will be among the lucky ones ![]() On a brighter note -- I have been moused!!!!! Nonny is so clever... she enlisted the help of baba-prague to send me two of the gorgeous Baba bags Sleeping beauty with taupe silk and the Fortune Teller from the Magical Menagerie with teal silk... they are breathtaking and admittedly, I had often considered the Fortune Teller myself! So that's another proof Nonny is definitely psychic!!Karen wrote Nonny rushed in while she was packing parcels and sneaked my bags in... so I'm double envious, Nonny has been to Baba Studio in Prague - and Karen might have actually seen Nonny ... or at least heard the soft clatter of tiny paws! Thanks Nonny, it was so wonderful to be visited and it makes me feel spring is coming after my tough winter with the loss of relatives and friends. __________________ Some are born to sweet delight, some are born to endless night... ~William Blake, Auguries of Innocence~ Screws fall out all the time. Has anyone ever actually seen Nonny? I mean to say...not that she's invisible...but... Well, she seems to travel awfully fast, doesn't she? ...like Santa... I guess what I'm getting at is, well, Do you think maybe Santa might also be a mouse...? |
