Oh. My. Goodness. I can't believe it. I'm ashamed to say I was hardly aware of Ms Mouse's existence and lo and behold: I'VE BEEN MOUSED!!!!! I can't begin to think why I've been selected for this but I would like to thank A. Nonny Mouse's helpers from the bottom of my heart for the biggest surprise ever. I'm completely speechless and have a tear in my eye. to you all.Having experienced the Mouse in action I really want to help to carry on her work and participate in the project myself. It would be WONDERFUL to make someone else's day the way that mine has been made today ![]() But back to the surprise package, which contained, amidst a host of tiny twinkling stars: a lovely bookmark with a picture of a hummingbird on it; a very satisfying silvery pendulum decorated with what I think is a seedhead, or a cast of one; a soothing Reiki CD (very welcome and appropriate); a glittering stone which will make a fabulous paperweight; a very comprehensive and interesting book on tarot spreads which I'm looking forward to dipping into and, my very favourite item of all, a copy of The Sidhe by John Matthews, which I've had my eye on for ages. What else can I say but THANK YOU!!!! o_w x |

Barbara Ahajusts has just told me by PM that she's received a package from Nonny Mouse! However, the circumstances in her life have been such that she hasn't felt up to making a post here about it yet. This is not uncommon---hence why these packages are often sent---to bring some cheer and support to those who are in difficult situations. She says she'll make a post when she can.In the meantime, our loving thoughts are with you, Barbara. I hope the package was able to convey that.

Thank you to A. Nonny Mouse, and all her helpers all over the world. I checked my mail while on the way to buy onions (can you believe that after stopping at the market 3 times in the last week, I kept forgetting onions??), and ended up sitting and bawling in my car. In the last few weeks, with all the turmoil and uncertainty, I would have normally dropped into a depression and just not dealt with it at all other than to beat myself up and create worst case scenarios until my health is also affected. But not this time. This time, I turned to the loving community here at AT for support. I was a bit scared, really, as I have spent most of my life pushing people away. But the real and caring support made a huge difference. It is the real, nonjudgmental, unconditional caring that has really touched me the most. As my family moves forward into this time of uncertainty, one thing is certain. There are good people in the world who still care and who will share words of advice or just a hand on the shoulder (honestly, sometimes I have felt that). They do so because they are kind, because they care, and because no matter our differences, we are all part of the same global family. Thank you to everybody. And to Miss Mouse -> What really brought on the tears?? That post card from Exmoor National Park. I don't believe I have ever mentioned that this is the one place on the planet where I want to go more than anywhere else? I visit the website regularly just to look at pictures and read about the trails, the red deer, the ponies, etc. When I was very young, I read RD Blackmoore's "Lorna Doone." I just happened to have a very old edition that included b&w plates of scenes around the area the story is set. From that moment, I wanted to go there. So, since I am in my *cough*mid forties*cough* that would have been when I was 9, so that was Quite A Long Time Ago. I still have an old tattered copy (1909 edition) that is missing the front cover! I read it now and again. You have NO IDEA what that post card did to me and now I am getting all soggy eyed again. ![]() And now to goodies...what did Miss Mouse send? A cute kitty book mark - how did you know? Now I can stop with using the mailer cards I pull out of magazines at work! A tin of mints with a darling fluff ball kitten on it. Some sweet sage and lavender (a smudge). Lavender oil that smells scrumptious. A pendulum! I have never had one before. This one has a Rudraksha seed! How cool is that? Chocolate!! mmmmmm Dairy Milk w/ Fruit and nut!!! A beautiful agate, though I am not sure. It has striations, and I am not sure that agates have striations like that. Either way, it will take its place of honor in my tiny "fancy rock" collection. And finally, the Druid Animal Oracle Deck! And perhaps last, but not least....lots of little colored foil stars! I have rounded them up and put them in my special Japanese porcelain dish with my other "treasures." I just can't say thank you enough. |

Chiska and Oak_woman, you both deserved the nice surprises! Our little Ms. Nonny Mouse just seems to know when and where the packages will be the most needed at any time and she makes sure to spread the love.

Thank you kindly xx
Well my dear Ms. Mouse you have been so very kind to me and I thank you greatly xx Feeling a lil under the weather today and I was surprised by a parcel at my door! Words can not express all the thoughts tumbling in my mind as I gazed inside. Oddly, this parcel will not just serve to bring me happiness but it will add to several others lives around me at present and help to brighten them as well! Although I love everything personally I know there are some close to me who will benefit from your generosity towards me. Initially, I was at a loss as to why you felt the need to visit me; Make no mistake I am grateful and I have been going through some things but I do not believe I have voiced anything out loud, as they are my musings to deal with. Just a few of what as been on my mind the last several weeks.... I have a poorly neighbour who has been having a rather difficult time accepting her cancer and rapid decline- and I was just thinking a couple of days ago what could I do to help cheer her up and today an answer arrived in the box, so I thank you! My oldest daughter who resides overseas with her father will be visiting within a couple of weeks time and out of the blue she asked me to get her, her very first Tarot deck- I thought I may have an option for her already but again in todays box when I saw a certain something I knew that was the answer for her, so I thank you! My youngest daughter who will also be visiting enjoys all things Angels and there is a lil something in todays box that will be perfect for her, so I thank you! Recently a neighbour across the way and I have started to become friends, were not best friends but enjoy the start of this new friendship and she seems to need a true friendship right now as much as I do locally. Again I was just thinking of trying to find her a lil something to let her know that her company and friendship were appreciated, without being to over the top, the answer to this was in todays box, so I very much thank you! Do not worry Ms. Mouse I am not at all ungrateful to you and I am most blessed with deck of Enlightened oracle and the book set. The lil gem of a candle, and other small trinkets are just lovely and brought me a smile, so I very much thank you! Funny enough todays parcel has also verified something my OH and I were discussing last night; we're considering a move next year and we were discussing where we should go, with so many things to conisder schools, jobs, wish of living within the countryisde yet still being able to make a living etc..yet today within this fabulous box was verification of an exact place we discussed last night! It was like recieveing an affirmation of all will be well, so I will now try not to worry of the future. I thank you deeply. ![]() I find it very uncanny how you seemed to know so many things! Items suitable for those around me, as well as myself all were just amazingly spot on, and I end by saying thank you; you blessed lil mouse!! xoxo Last edited by Guiding Cauldron; 12-05-2011 at 23:41. |

Well, another package arrived earlier this week. The recipient has had surgery, though, and may not be able to post yet. I did get confirmation from her friend, though, that it's arrived.

I have a ladybug bag, too, but I've got my tiny little ladybug oracle in it. The bag is way big for it, but someday maybe I'll find a bigger deck to join the little ladybug oracle in it.
