See, your last comment mirrors my exact sentiments. I'm on the train to work right now, posting via iPhone so the quote option is off limits. I try to steer away from theme decks. I like Tarot and x, doesn't always translate well into a Tarot deck with x together. But the positive reviews are glaring from people who don't even love cats. How can a cat lover who loves Tarot not be smitten and curious? We shall see. |

Oh not "washed out". I wouldn't say washed out. In fact, I didn't say washed out. But pale watercolours. A medium I become less fond of. Of course if it were rare and HTF or showing signs of going OOP, I'd buy it but that's distinct from liking the deck. I'm sure I'll get it. One of these days it'll turn up on a search at the Book Depository for 11 euros or something. When I see decks like that I usually buy them. The price of lunch... but it's *that loving feeling* I'm finding hard to muster. |

I've ordered it. I've been watching this thread for some time now, and thought how much I liked the look of the cards. I wouldn't let myself get it before now because I wanted to be 100% sure, as buying it would go against all my principles. For one thing, I pride myself these days on just using a select couple of my (very small) collection, and I've never gone for animal decks of any description before. Well, that's not strictly true, but the ones I've had I quickly sold on. I'm not a Lo Scarabeo fan either, but I like this deck. The more I look at (and read about) it, the more I think I'll read comfortably with it. So I'm now awaiting a package from the Book Depository. Lillie, fantastic review and write-up about it! __________________ ~ ~ ~ Hils ~ ~ ~ SOOD Keeper of the Spicey Wedges Keeper of Next Door's Cat Keeper of the Application Forms |

I am very very close to ordering this deck. In the beginning I didn't think it would be a deck for me, but more and more I am finding myself being drawn to it, and lusting after it! __________________ ODW 2013: Lo Scarabeo Tarot |

It's here! I ran out and greeted the UPS delivery man and tore the box open on my way in!I love it! It was worth the wait and surpassed my expectations! My favorite cat deck so far! I love The Fool, and The High Priestess looks like and matches my black cat's personality, ha.The Emperor is lovely and The Hanged Man makes me laugh. The Devil is fierce and The Star (The Stars) is my favorite in the deck. The Cups are my favorite suit and the King of Pentacles may be my favorite ever. I don't want to spoil it for my fellow US ATers who haven't gotten it yet. P.S. I love the backs. |

<~ grinning now! Lo Scarabeo did cats how cats should be done. It's a great smart Tarot deck, not just a theme deck. I'll need a back-up. |
