I'm okay now. I was actually okay while it was happening, mostly because I was just angry. And afterwards I was trying to keep my friend/neighbor from getting hurt/scared. Whoa - serious confrontation! Lucky break that it's all on camera  . Will there be any repercussions?Meantime back at my particular ranch I am so cross with himself I feel like packing my bags and moving out! Or at least moving all my stuff into the Spirit Room, and living in there for a while. It's all because of the gym. Well, not the gym itself, but the fact that Caroline (the proprietor) is teaming me up with someone to race with in rowing. I was so pleased about it  . Then yesterday himself tells me that he is "very unhappy with the idea of it, and really doesn't want me to do it". I said that wasn't a good enough explanation and I needed to know why he is unhappy. He couldn't/wouldn't clarify and just repeated that he's very unhappy about it and really, really doesn't want me to do it.Now I get two possibilities from this: 1. He doesn't want me doing things without him. (He still doesn't like me going to the gym but is happier since he realises that most days I bump into my son and his g/f while I'm there). 2. Which leads me to wonder if he thinks I'm some kind of slut, and will cheerfully leap into some other bloke's arms if I'm allowed out on my own..... Both of these options really piss me off! So, I'm going ahead with it . I haven't actually told him yet though (squawk said the chicken) and I think he assumes I will be a compliant, dutiful (Victorian) wife and give up the idea.Dream on, sunshine!! __________________ When I was a child/I caught a fleeting glimpse/Out of the corner of my eye La ilaha illa Allah |
