Hehe, I thought you may think so Luca, that's why I figured I should tell you they're running out If you click the buy link in the top right corner, there's a list of people that had them...most are sold out, even if they're not listed as sold out on that page, but I know Foxfeather Zenkova still has some, I got mine from her in December.

There ARE 8 cards that are prehistoric/fantasy creatures, but since it's not set out like a tarot deck, it doesn't harm to remove those IMO. Which, I have! LOL (I didn't throw them out, just they don't leave the box hehe)

I do not mind prehistoric/fantasy creatures. I have a trading card game about animals. I have collected every single card, and my deck is a foot tall. The game has seven categories: Fantasy, Prehistoric, Dangerous, Aquatic, Venomous, Small, and Misc.

I will look into buying the Pathfinder deck.

Oh, sorry Kale. Everyone seems to be getting sick lately. You definitely need to sleep if you can.

My objection to prehistoric animals is that how can they say WHAT attributes attach to them? No one knew them, because they're prehistoric...and we know how often scientific fact can be disproved when confronted with the actuality rather than supposition. Plus, even if we know an animal ate leaves and laid eggs, that doesn't account for the personality or loyalties of an animal.

Fantasy is not much different, although in terms of mythology I suppose even these are more precise than prehistoric. Still, in a deck of 83 cards, removing 8 isn't so terrible, and I'm thinking 75 animals is still a huge range of attributes to be desired/watched for.

Each artist got a set number of copies & they sign the deck too!

Animal Wise may be be getting scarce too, since Ted Andrews passed on. Be very careful that you don't get stuck with the book only.

It's not on amazon.com. You can only get it from the artists, it's a limited edition of 1,000 decks, and they're selling out. On the page that loads when you click Jo's link, click the "Buy yours from Pathfinders" link in the top right corner. That brings you to a list of people that had them, although most are sold out. Some still do have them, and I know Foxfeather Zenkova does...

ETA - or follow Cardlady's link, she's smarterer than me! LOL

You choose the closest one to you that still has a deck. It will take some research & a few emails to see.

I'm seeing some of the Animal Wise listed at Amazon, but I do caution you not to place the order without Contacting the Seller to be sure it is the cards- not just a book. Don't go for the lowest cost ones.
