I'm sure your collection will grow with time - are there shops near you where you can look and buy, or do you have to use internet like some folks here, who have no local places? Anyway, I'm writing up in another thread - back in a few... __________________ Deep in the green; call loudly in the woods if you want me! Last edited by PathWalker; 11-04-2011 at 22:11. Marina, hoping for the best for you! Good morning, dear Trade Train folks! Happy Monday! Welcome to BirchTreeNymph; what a treat to have more new faces. OMG - Zan!!! You must be so tired of the earthquakes. I know you have a fantastic sense of humor that's great for getting through rough times, but enough is enough already. Zan + Japan

Oh, and I am a Very Bad Poster...only 4 posts in the last pub! To be honest, I have re-discovered reading and have been channeling my obsessive energy into reading again instead of hanging out online.

![]() ![]() Hello, Blue, hello everyone who is still on... A special Hello to Birch, as I think we haven't met yet You will come to notice, Birch, that you either need lots of keyboard time or else you miss lots and lots of what is going on..Yira... people love you and know you're in a hard place... Lute... hello! Zan... I'm glad having someone hanging onto your valuables manages to extract a giggle from you... Was horrified to see the news today! Again! Wendy... were you just explaining the Trade Train concept for Birch, or is there one happening sometime soon???? Pathwalker... does Jesii pinch your decks....? Ah, the life of a student... I used to pinch Mum's books!!! Lucly for me that I, like Jesii, had an interesting Mum!!! ![]() Marina... happy dreaming! ![]() I've attached a couple of my cards (is that allowed?) that reflect yummy things coming into people's Life, through self-loving, Universal abundance, or both! I hope you all find yourself cocooned in yummy warm-fuzzies (an energy-caress, for want of any other explanation!). Take care of you... and you... and you... oh, and you...!!!! ![]() ![]()

They are beautiful Linnie, thank you! Jes did have quite a few decks from the collection when I bought it, mostly we have differnt tastes, so there's not many we both want! She did actually pay me for the two we were speaking about - she really wanted to "own" them, and I had just recently bought them new, so she felt she wanted to do that. But sometimes we swap, or loan, or whatever. Or after a train I will trade one of my decks to get something I know she'd like. She's a ray of sunshine in my life, and I like to bring a smile to her, just before I make her do the washing up!

I wish someone would write a similar series about South America! ![]() I am ashamed to say that I gave up on reading Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead. I don't like dropping a story in the middle, and when I do it's because I did my best but the book didn't help. I got tired of those dichotomic robots she calls characters. They were not people, they were archetypes, more predictable than The Hierophant. I could not identify with any of them, let alone care about any of them. I know she was trying to show the 'ideal' man, but perhaps I don't want to read about the ideal man. People with flaws are just fine. Chewbacca has more depth of character than any of The Fountainhead people. Life is short, there are too many books for me to waste my time with a bunch of characters that could not hold my interest after 200 pages! The idea is very good, and the book could be grandiose, but it lacked the very human factor that would have made it great. The central conflict of the book is basically "what if an irresistible force met an immovable object?". And the answer is "who cares, I prefer objects that move". So... I gave the book away. I still have Atlas Shrugged at home, but I'm reluctant to start it... |

Thanks, Stormy ![]() I'm reading Buffalo Woman comes Singing, still, because I've had a massive 'get-ALL-the-crystals-out-and-cleanse/rainshower/sunbath/them-and-while-you're-doing-that-look-at-ALL-the-crystal-books-to-remind-you-of-what-they-are-and-what-they-are-used-for', so I've taken very much longer to read a very enjoyable and full of good stuff book than I ordinarily would! I still pinch Mum's books, and her partner pinches mne, because we like the same things.. but now Mum's mentioning that when she and her partner have left this earthly plane, I'm the only one who'll be interested in their bookshelves, so she's encouraging me to take some in dribs and drabs each time I visit her... I just end up taking us all out to a cafe/bookshop whenever I visit, and we end up bringing home another dozen or so books...
