"EATING according to the seasons is the secret of health"....and on the flip side.... "Your body knows that all things have their seasons. The spirit has it's seasons, too--spring for rebirth, summer for exploration and growth, autumn for harvesting, and winter for introspection. Live in the season today." I was EVER so hopeful when I saw "Eating"....but.... I'm stunned to speechlessness.....

Dude, even if I WANTED to listen to that card, I'd have no idea what the heck I'm supposed to be eating for spring - or in any other season. Well, winter, I suppose I Think about and remember food, while going hungry.

Hmmm yeah, not terribly deep, huh? Spring for rebirth? I never would have guessed that on my own I was just reading about how the disaster is springing Japan into sexual prowess. Apparently new registrations on dating sites are way up and sales of engagement rings are 3x the norm. Can't argue with that - I went on Mission: Dating starting only days after the quake, and now have myself an adorable new boyfriend. Interesting, though, the human psyche. I'm on the train now. Might as well be bored on the other side of town and close to class... __________________ A gentleman is one who never hurts anyone's feelings unintentionally. -Oscar Wilde By all means let's be open-minded, but not so open-minded that our brains drop out. -Richard Dawkins |

Hey Zan, seeing as how I have such respect for your erudition and, like, knowin'-$hit and stuff, would you have any recommendations for books of correspondence exchanges for me to read? I think it must be the voyeur in me, but I love reading letters. Crowley's Magick Without Tears is one of my favourite magickal texts. __________________ Aw, come on!
