Ooooh I'm hungry.... I know I had a cheese sarnie and a hard boiled egg not long ago, but I had a nice trip out in the countryside, and it gave me an appetite!

Everywhere is soooo green and pretty . The dogs and himself had a nice walk up on Orley Common while I was with WB and they are all famished. Gotta be lunchtime soon?

How did James's first day at work go? Or am I getting days wrong?

No, you're right - he started y/day. I think he liked it - was very laid back about it and said he'd spent most of the day studying stuff on the computer and will do so for a few weeks .... that's OK, he's good at studying . The people are friendly, and he wasn't at all tired because like he said - he'd not actually done anything all day. After telling me all that he shot off to what really matters - band practice ready for the weekend's gig

Hey - my lovely Thoth got here from Mell. It feels gorgeous . I must pm in case she doesn't read this here .....

Oh I'm glad it went well! But it obvious he is a music person! So it's good he is not losing out of that despite having to do other things!

Yes - it's central to his life, and I think he doesn't much care what he does to earn money as long as he has the music. I'm glad because it means he won't ever become one of those people who are validated by their career choice - and then are shattered when they lose the job or retire.....

This Thoth is scrumptious!

It's an OTO 1978 (?), printed in Belgium deck of 78 pieces of silk

Not fabric silk - just feels like .... I love the old Belgian printed decks - they feel totally different to anything being produced today. This deck has been used, but loved and looked after
