LOL Yira, I know how it is having a tagalong. My 3 yr old likes to be in the middle of everything too, and so independent that he wants to do things on his own. LOL

On June 24th I am rowing a marathon as a personal challenge to raise funds for a bowel cancer charity. This weekend I should get as far as 35,000m but the actual marathon is 42000 ish.

Either my old gym or the Posh Office will play host

. I don't mind either - the Posh Office has a bunch of serious Dragon boat racers, but the gym is where I'd really prefer. They had said they would host so I need to check with them. Waiting on an email back.

Oh that's really cool Wendy -- I knew you were training for a marathon I just somehow missed it was for charity. Totally awesome!

I don't know where I got the idea from... I just knew I needed to keep some very real motivation, and that this would suit me and the charity. And my dad died of secondaries resulting from late diagnosed bowel cancer. Me - such progress as has been made meant that I survived.... I'd like the next generation not to have to fear cancer as much as ours does ....

A very worthy goal...cancer is scary, like the bogey monster come to life. A cure for cancers would be so amazing(especially if the cure didn't end up being almost as bad as what it's curing...)

Yep, and even better - with doing all this exercise I can eat almost anything at the moment.

Gotta go to the post office, think I am feeling at least better enough to get that done. Plus need to get lil one out of the house for a bit so that maybe he will take a nap today and I can get some housework done. I also need to get a resume made up :/ which I definitely not good at.
