Yeah, I'd like to get that deck some day..the artwork is just very pleasing...hehe

I'm same as you PW -- I don't read with my entire collection, but I do use them in other ways and really love it - especially since I decided to trade off the ones I really did NOT like. I can start getting decks I don't like when I run out of decks I do like to collect

Good morning Lihn, nice to meet you
Have you been in the pub before and I've missed you (different time zones) or is this your first visit?
You're very welcome, we chat a lot here, just pull up a chair and be comfortable.

Hi PW, I'm brand new to the pub. I just talked for the first time last night in my time zone.
And if you don't know what to do with your deck, there's this really interesting book called Tarot Spells by Janina Renee http://www.amazon.com/Tarot-Spells-L...6843936&sr=1-1
It's on my wishlist, all you need for her "spells" is your brain and a tarot deck, which is a very affordable deal.

I think that is important - I'd rather have a smaller collection but where I love every deck than a huge one where I hated some. I'm not a completionist.

I'm debating whether or not to try Shadowscapes again. I bought it because I absolutely love the images on Stephanie's site. In my hand though the images seemed so small I just felt disappointed. Sold it on but now am thinking of giving it another try...
Talk about indecisive.

I think Shadowscape is a wonderful deck to read with. It puts the reader at ease with its gentle imagery and symbol. I read with it a lot, and my sitters seem to really like the deck.

Flaxen -- when you first get it, it's a HUGE letdown, like you noticed. I mean, if you were anything like me you spent MONTHS (perhaps years) just pouring over the pictures on the web site, falling in love and getting to know the details...

But lets face it, cardstock just can't have that luminosity that the computer screen gives. Add to that the MUCH smaller size and it's a recipe for disaster...

However, if you work through that initial disappointment, you come out the other side with a real friend....
