See you later Jesii, let us know how you get on

I'm currently trawling through lecture notes from my British Empire class, compiling some revision sheets. Doing it at a leisurely pace though I would probably be using Thoth right now if it had arrived today... might do some stuff with the Wildwood later...

Oh, I can understand that, wanting to just get it over and done! You'll do fine!

@Jesii: GOOD LUCK m'dear! You'll be fine
Have you ever visited the trimming thread in Talking Tarot? There are pics posted of the decks that folks have trimmed, and they are amazing! I'll go hunt it up.

Also, trimming is easier than you think. It took me ages to pluck up the courage to trim my Fey tarot but it looks so much better. I love it like this and it was pretty painless.

I've had a look, yes. They do look beautiful...

I think I'd be firstly too scared of messing it up, and secondly I just like to keep things as the publisher intends. If I'm staring at an image, I tend to forget the border exists anyway. Mind you, Morgan-Greer is one of my favourite decks and that doesn't have borders... so colourful!

@Flaxen. The Osho Zen you have listed on your profile as 'prepared to trade'. Does that mean you want a specific deck in return, or are you willing to sell it? I've been trying to hunt this deck down lol!

Well, if you ever change your mind, just practice on some playing cards or index cards before you trim the/a deck.

How do people get the edges to stay so round?

Either! It's deck I've had for some years but not used that much. It has some beautiful cards and others which don't speak to me in the same way. A friend of mine regularly reads for me with this deck which is why I don't really feel the need to hold on to it.

I'm happy to release it to someone new. I've also got the book 'Tarot in the Spirit of Zen'. I'm happy to gift them to you, if you'd like them.
